Is the camera capable of taking still pictures? null

Yes you can take still pictures within the app. There is a feature once you open the app, just hit the camera icon and it will snap a picture.

If you have it set up to send motion alerts to your phone, there is a screenshot included in that alert, but you are not able to send a command to the camera to take a still picture whenever you want.

Yes you can take still pictures within the app. There is a feature once you open the app, just hit the camera icon and it will snap a picture.
