• This will definitely depend on your usage but I wouldn't recommend using this device without a home internet connection with a large allotment of data.

• When you view the camera through your 3G or 4G it will use you mobile phone data. If you are on your local network or a WiFi network, it will not use this data. This camera does require high speed internet at the location of the camera to operate; it will not work with hot spots or satellite internet.
