• No, this is only data (Internet) and not phone service. You would need an additional modem for phone service.

• Yes this modem house four lan connections. And handles multiple devices at my home Xbox two iPads several cell phones. No one complains at my home

• Yes. I have voice over Internet protocol, I also have Netflix a dish Hopper and many mobile devices connected throughput seems to be OK

• This is an excellent modem/router, but it does NOT work for phones. We just got TWC and they will give you FREE a phone modem if you use another modem/router.

• I just purchased this cable modem in order to save the $10/month cable modem fee by Time Warner. the funny thing is that TW lets you keep their cable modem FREE OF CHARGE in order to use the telephone line. the Zoom is then used for internet, and TW cable modem no longer provides you with their 300mbps internet.

• You can use it for your internet, and if you have a splitter you can use it to split the cable to go to your cable box / t.v. as well. It does NOT support phone services, but the package as a list of other options you can use for your phone service with an internet connection such as google voice, vonage and others.
