If by "aux", you mean a smaller 1/8" jack to XLR, try using the phantom power build into the Podtrak (mic icon with the lightning next to it). Also, if your mic has a built-in volume level, try that at max both with and without the phantom power. If neither work, get a hold of a normal mic with XLR and verify the XLR inputs are working. If they do work, then you can either get an XLR mic or purchase a Passive Direct Box for your current mic (which costs as much as getting a decent mic).
