• The phone is not Unlocked. It is sold under T-Mobile. It is a GSM device. And yes with a T-Mobile Straight Talk Sim, this device can be used under Straight Talk.

• This version of the ZMax is locked to T-Mobile. MetroPcs stores sell another version that is locked to MetroPcs. Some folks who use companies that connect to the T-Mobile network report that they put in their SIM card and the phone worked. That might be true for a few people, but do not count on the ZMax working correctly unless you are a T-Mobile customer.

• The phone is unlocked and ready to go. I just inserted a tmobile sim card and had no issues
