• I have both my cable and tv remote set to adjust the volume. The instructions lets you know how to set it up. Very easy

• The Geek Squad set my TV and sound bar up. They said I could not use the TV or cable remote, and had to use the one that comes with the box. I don't know if it is due to blue tooth pairing.
