BestBuy Sold Fake Pairs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got a pair from BestBuy, the ANC was not working. I returned that and got a new pair. Same issue! Then I went directly to apple for diagnossiss. And guess what they said, they are fake !!! I am attaching the report from apple. Apple said, "Could tell by discoloration, case is too wide, hinge is too lose, gap in case, indicator light is not the correct color, and the case makes an unknown ding sound when plugged in and opened." BestBuy did refund me but, I had too visit the store three times. And for a brand like BestBuy, this is very disappointing. I will be avoiding BestBuy from now on. You should too. Not worrth the hassel. A google search shows that this has been going for a long time. May be they just don't care.

Received counterfeit product from NextGen Tech

The serial number listed on the package was bogus. Best Buy online blamed me, not this third party retailer. Luckily the store helped me return this bogus product. Beware shoppers - much of what's on Best Buy's website is not from Best Buy, but from these third party merchants. And when there is a problem with these merchants, Best Buy throws up their hands and says they can't help, even though Best Buy is the party that I paid. Don't buy from this merchant, or any other third party merchant that Best Buy has on their website, unless you are certain you can trust them.
