This is a good indoor grill. Although, I wish it came with an additional contact grill plate. I did noticed that when I use it closed the oils/fat from the meats that I am grilling doesn't make it to the drippings compartment.

The grill has been working good since purchased. I purchased 2 additional plates from Williams-Sonoma for the grill. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the performance of the Breville Smart Grill.
I would of purchased the extra plates from Best Buy but Best Buy didn't carry them.
I think anyone that knows how to cook would enjoy the grill. I like it better than the George Foreman.

Do you or I need a Blendtec or Vitamix blender than can shred a tree branch? No, but it is much more fun to use than a $10 hand blender which would do 90% of how I use my blender! Likewise, the Breville Smart Grill is over the top as well. It is well built and the outcome is excellent. I like the idea of Element IQ, which sense when you put your relatively cold steak (or whatever) and focuses heat on that area.
