If you don’t need this large screen and the fresh rate, the m1 ipad air is also a good choice and should be more than enough for everyday use.

And while it can’t replace my MacBook, it’s has definitely become an awesome tool in the arsenal that I choose 90% of the time over my MacBook.

I Love my 2021 12.9 IPad Pro

I had the 11 inch but needed More real estate as I’m a musician and I use it at my gigs occasionally to look at my Setlist or lyrics for a song. It’s very fast with the M1 chip and the 8 gigs of memory implanted in the chip. I love it and also know that paying $1,099 for it is a hunk of cash. But it’s worth it , I hope that IOS 15 makes it more like a laptop but Apple isn’t dumb either. They know how to make a great product.
