I almost bought a 2017/2018 iPad Pro a couple uears ago, but wasn't impressed enough seeing inferior models having new A-Series chips in them. Now this lineup finally has a chip in it that can make it perform like a Surface tablet. I wish full MacOS was an option to install (there are plugins/extensions I like to use), but for now it is still iPadOS. Nonetheless with a chip of this caliber this tablet will stay fast for years. The design also feels stronger than some past models. This version can also make the 120hz screen more pracfical with games not locked at 30 FPS. I may eventually have to go with a Surface Pro for some work use cases, but we will see. So far it has been great for Teams and Zoom calls on the go. I connect it to my phone hotspot. With the M1 this tablet justifies the asking price a bit more.

Right to the point, this iPad with the M1 is nice but if you have an iPad Pro and are satisfied with its performance and camera capabilities then I would not bother upgrading at this time. Dont get me wrong, the M1 is nice and snappy, it’s performance is nice and I like it, noticeable difference from my last iPad Pro 2019. But not worth the upgrading to if you have a pro already (IMHO)

Perfect, long lasting on the go device. I credit this for good grades from its note taking ability.

I’ve waited to upgrade tablets for awhile. When I saw the specs this shipped with, it was an easy purchase to make. The pro series of iPad are in a league apart between the sound, multitasking, and overall power the M1 chip allows for. Can not recommend more highly, paired with the magic keyboard and you basically have a smaller MacBook that can part time as a tablet.

Fast performing device. The battery life is really good. Camera takes great pictures.

I bought this iPad to take when I'm traveling, but it's become more like a second laptop. I love the size and how easy it was to sync it with my iPhone and move over all my photos, apps, etc. The iPad literally walked me through it (and I am NOT tech savvy). It took me a long time to invest in an iPad, but I'm so glad I finally got this one.

Super fast with great resolution. Very slim design and works with the Apple pencil.

I upgraded iPad from a few generations back to this latest model and there is a night and day difference. The screen is just so vivid and crisp. The response rate is fast and the load times are very low so this iPad just blew my last one away in its overall performance. There are so many features that this iPad has and the ability to run programs is just flawless.
