We usually use Kitchen Aid Mixers in the restaurat industry. And they usually run forever making pastries and other items. Usually not making bread doughs in these mixers. I bought the 5 quart lightest model because of the amount of use I will get at home. Could have gotten the 4 quart and been satisfied. Attachements needed are the silicone attachment for the paddle and the grinder/sausage attachment.

To this point, it has been a good mixer. Seems to have enough power to mix dough, bread and pizza. So, I'm sure it will work with lighter mixes.

This professional mixer was a must-buy. The price was outstanding; I am always keeping my eye out on these mixers so when Best Buy offered this particular model at such a "never have I seen this price", this puppy was mine. Yes, it is heavy and yes, it doesn't fit in it's intended space (too tall) so I took it to our vacation home where it sits on the counter looking awesome. I have owned another model for almost 25 years and this was to replace just because I liked the red color and it was the professional model. Due to its heft, I would definitely keep it counter height and easily accessible.

Nice, smooth mixing. The bowl is a bit awkward to put into position, but once set - this is a powerful mixer. No hesitation or funny noises.

This may not have the tilt back people are looking for, but the lift and motor give this great stability. I could not be happier with it. Large and in charge, quick, and it covers all the angles. In love! Everything has been a breeze to make, from frosting, to batters, to dough. My cheesecakes took minutes to prep.

I love the kitchen aid! This is the professional series, so a lot of the pretty ceramic bowls are not available for this one, but it is much easier to keep clean! All of the attachments still work, so no fear there. Hands free mixing is a wonderful thing, and I highly recommend this product!

This was a gift for a family member. I've had Kitchenaid stand mixers for decades and love my latest the Pro Bowl lift. Recipient enjoys the newest version of the basic one they had for years...really like the power of this mixer and the bowl being raised and lowered. Got great sale price and prefer buying appliances from BB, because of the 24-month warranty that comes with every purchase.

My son loves this with the additional attachment. We have made bread, pasta and he uses it to grind meat.

Love it. Beats having to do things by hand especially if there are little ones in the family. Saves/frees up time.

The size of this mixer was intimating i was scared that it was too big and bulky but after making my first batch of bread I knew this was the right one for me. It’s super easy to use setting the bowl on the mixer is a little tricky at first but YouTube has some great videos to help out.

When I first received it I washed it thoroughly, but it wasn't enough because when I was making pizza dough I saw black stuff and had to throw out the batch. It definitely needs a good, extensive wash when first using it. When making any type of dough, I feel like the mixer is overworking and might break any minute and doesn't move as fast when making dough. For any other type of mixing such as cake batter, or frosting, there are no problems. It is very smooth. Doesn't make too much noise, and looks great. SUPER HEAVY THOUGH!

this is a must have for every kitchen. my wife loves it and uses it every day. I got this on a sale so cant complain about the price.

I found the color I was looking for at the best price ever! I sincerely recommend it, when it comes to quality and performance. It does the job a lot faster and easier especially for that delicious and fluffy bread making and so many other goodies. Now, when it comes to the weight. It is a quite heavy, but then a light weight equipment might not have the same performance or better yet durability. I'm very excited to have it. It came in the best time!

KitchenAid stand mixer are the gold bar for mixers and this one is no different. I prrefer it to the artisan series especially if you bake several times a week. This mixer will last for years if proper used. Got it on sale for Black Friday which made it a great value. Would buy again!
