After the update the dock wouldn't work. Support does not have an ETA and suggests buying a new dock that supports the new OS. And all this happened in a span of 6 months.

Anytime I bump the adapter my monitors blank out on me. Also USB's do not work in the adapter. I do not believe it is due to my laptop itself, since it's a new MacBook Pro.

Doesn't work with MacBook

Typically this mini docking station will work well with MacBooks. The exception is that it will not work with Mac OS Big Sur. Drivers that work with Mac OS Big Sur have not been developed yet (As of 9/14/2020). The drivers for Mac OS Big Sur are currently under development. Keyboard/mouse plugged in becomes unresponsive

Every 5-10 minutes, the mouse/keyboard will become unresponsive for 5-10 seconds. I tested both USB ports on this device and both showed the problem. With the keyboard/mouse plugged directly into the laptop, they are completely responsive. Additionally, when the same laptop uses another brand of USB-C docking station, there are no problems. So the issue does not appear to be the laptop or keyboard/mouse, since the only common factor to the problem is this docking station.

Posted .Unfortunately, the issue that you are experiencing is likely due to radio frequencies interference (RFI) caused by USB 3.0 devices. The signal from USB 3.0 devices can interfere with wireless devices operating within the 2.4GHz band. Alternatively, we recommend that you use wireless devices which operate within the 5GHz range, as they will not encounter as much radio frequency interference with USB 3.0 devices. Or a wired K+M. Not worth it, needs optional power adapter

To use a second monitor and have speakers you need to use the optional power supply, which the manufacturer doesn't offer through their website, and is not possible to purchase at BestBuy. I purchased a different brand to fit my need.

Stay away from this if you have or have plans to upgrade your mac to 11.1
