I previously owned an LG Sound Bar and Sub. After purchasing this system by Sony, it blows the LG system out of the water. The clarity and depth of sound is so much improved compared to the LG. In addition, the Sub is a much fuller and deeper bass.

Got open box. It connected seamless with my sony tv using Arc. The dolby atmos and virtual surround sound are usless i dont notice any when watching starwars. However the base hits nice. And the voice sound is crisp using the center speaker. The wireless surround speakers are discontinued by sony that is bogus and no alternative exists.

This sound system exceeded my expectations. Sounds even better after setting it up at home versus the sound from the display that convinced me to buy it in the store. Very easy to set-up and has many features to customize the sound to what you are viewing.

Nice loud and perfect timing and connection with my Sony tv perfect combo eliminated my Bluetooth speaker with this soundbar so much more than I bargained for great sound quality and good value

Middle of the run sound bar. Seems like a little expensive for the quality. Trouble getting to connect with wireless TV remote.

This is a high quality 5 Star Soundbar and wireless subwoofer. This sounds amazing!!! I cannot recommend enough for this Soundbar. The best sound I have ever heard! I highly recommend!!!!!! You will LOVE it!

the sound is great hard to actually feel the atmos effect but its still really good especially with my sony tv x900 it connects really good with it snd very easy to use

Well I started out getting the cheap one, but after listening to the sound quality on this one-and the great financing deal - I chose this! SO HAPPY WITH THIS CHOICE! Got the 2 back speakers also to go with it. My movies are so much better now! thanks

Pretty good speaker and sub ... only complaint is I need to use my xfinity remote for changing channels, my sound bar remote for volume, and the tv remote to change input

I purchased the HTZ9F soundbar to go along with a Sony 75" X900F. This is my first soundbar after using the internal TV speakers on my previous TV's. Setup is fairly easy and Sony includes the HDMI cable to connect the soundbar to the TV. The specialists at Best Buy recommend running sources through the soundbar and using the HDMI-3 Audio Return Channel (ARC) to feed the TV. The soundbar only has two other HDMI jacks, limiting the number of sources. The HDMI jacks are set at an angle on the back of the soundbar. The inner most jack can be difficult to use with thicker HDMI cables. Thicker cables make mounting the soundbar challenging as to not over bend the HDMI cables. The front of the soundbar has an LED display that provides feedback on which source is is in use and other messages. There is no functionality to rename HDMI jacks so one has to remember which source is associated with each jack. The HTZ9F provides better audio than the X900F TV's internal speakers. But for the price, that is expected. A big selling point is the Vertical Surround Engine (VSE). After trying various adjustments, I couldn't tell a huge difference with standard HD material. There are controls for adjusting the volume of the sub and rear speakers independent of the main soundbar. This makes it easy to increase or decrease the amount of bass depending on if you want to shake the house or not. The HTZ9F comes with Chromecast, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and and LAN connection functionality which I question the value add. Why do all devices (TV, soundbar, players, etc) have these redundant features? Hopefully there will be software updates which would make the LAN / Wi-Fi useful. I am using the soundbar with a Sony TV and there have been no integration issues or problems with voice sync. It works well with the Sony TV and BRAVIA Sync makes controlling the soundbar and TV easier after figuring out the various options. Fortunately, I was able to get an additional price reduction on top of the sale price when purchasing the soundbar with the TV. If I had to pay the normal sale price I am not sure the soundbar would be worth the price. But for the price paid, it is a reasonable upgrade to the system.

Great sound, plug-and-play w/Sony TV made set-up a snap and only 4 minutes- took longer to get out of package. Will be going back for the matching rear speakers.

Easy to set up. To get it absolutely right you'll want to flip through the menus and be inquisitive as to what some of the options mean. Over time playing with it I think I have it dialed in pretty well.

This Sony sound bar & sub woofer fills my media room with wall pounding sound! My next purchase is to pair this sound bar with satellite speakers. I love this sound bar & recommend it to audiophiles. I’ve own this sound bar for 2 months.

It complements my Sony Oled perfectly! Sound quality is amazing! Response, looks, activity, performance are all 5 stars from my end. No issue to report so far as i am keeping an eye on the previous problems reported on this model.

This sound bar was a little expensive for my taste, but we tried it anyhow. It ended up being a pretty good choice, but maybe could have done as well with a less expensive model.

My wife and I elected to add a Sony Sound bar and Woofer to our new Sony TV. The setup was simple and the sound quality is almost like being at the movie theater!

The sound is very good. I replaced a component system with this soundbar. It's seems to be as good as the Definitive soundbar I have on another tv. But, with the way it integrates with the Sony tv, it's better. Glad I bought it.

The Sony HTZ9F is a great soundbar. Very nice voice modulation. The wireless subwoofer is very effective, without being overbearing. The installation was very easy and it looks great under a 65 inch Sony OLED.

Purchased Bose sound bar 4 years ago with Samsung tv. With my new 4 k Sony tv and Sony 4K DVD player purchases a new sound bar was “necessary”. Amazing sound quality! Far superior to Bose sound bar.
