Inconsistent sound

The sound is awesome as long as you’re not watching sports or listening to music. Movies are pretty good. The highs get distorted and voices sound tinny. It just doesn’t process the sound correctly. It has moments of awesome but typically it is distorted. It also has regular drops between the sub woofer. That’s very irritating. It resolved when you unplug the thing for a few minutes. And no, I don’t have a ton of WiFi right there. i purposely hard wired my router to my tv, ps4,AppleTV and this sound bar. I also moved the router away from the speaker path so phones and computer signal are less in the way... if that’s even a thing. It still happens but not as frequently. All in all it’s not worth the money. Disappointed.

Overall solid Soundbar

That being said, the only thing I would have to even bring up is when at high volumes, there's just a tad bit of vibration. Other than that, this thing is amazing and I got an amazing deal!

Take Sound to the Next Level

If you are considering a middle-market option and have a Sony TV, I recommend this product. Some of the other reviews talk about performance and drop issues. I experienced the same thing but it has to do with playing with your cables and speaker placement. Overall an outstanding product that will advance sound in your setup if you are only using TV speakers currently.

Excellent sound for a reasonable price.

With the optional rear speakers, it will sound really excellent. Just do not use the provided HDMI cable because even when connected to tv, it will not make sound and no one will be able to use the system’s interface since it is different from tv. Use a separate HDMI cable from the store.
