This mouse might look like a 100% gaming mouse and it is BUT you can also use it for general computer use and for picture and video editing. The shape makes it comfortable to use , and it also has many buttons that you can use for many things like gaming, browsing the web (back, forth, copy paste, etc), For editing programs, etc. Once you down load the Logitech program you can edit this mouse to your hearts desire. Program all 11 to do what you want. Also change the RGB on the Logitech logo to nay color. The mouse also comes with small weights you can add to make it heavier. I never added them. The only negative is that the mouse is a bit on the heavy side. But that is all personal taste. The sensor on this mouse is excellent as well. Overall I would recommend this mouse.

For the excellent price this mouse goes at, the buttons, weights, customizability, and general quality of the G502 is the best mouse I'd ever want. No plan to get a different mouse any time soon :D

Tons of buttons for custom mapping, Software panel is great for custom dpi settings. Weights for adjusted comfort and you can even change the colors on the mouse as well! Worth every penny.

As a gaming mouse, this is near perfect. I didnt think id care for the adjustable weight, but truth is, it helps a lot. It fits comfortably, and i have small hands. Logitech did a GREAT job here. Alternatively, it feels a bit ...off You can customize just about the whole mouse (and maybe even add macros?) But you kind of have to that. The DPI (mouse speed) has some standard speeds set, but they all feel strange, so i had to adjust them. even now, after a few months im still tweaking them But thats because i can switch between speeds in an instant- AND tailor suit them to each game i play.

This is my favorite mouse on the market, I have 3 and use them daily. I load them up with all the weights as I'm a big guy and do not like super light mice. The comfort is top notch and they have all the buttons I'd want on a mouse

I tried 2-3 different gaming niceness before I landed on this one, and I’m glad that I did. This mouse is a bit smaller and a bit heavier (albeit not by much) than other gaming mice in its class. It has just the right amount of extra side buttons and you can add or remove weights in the bottom of the mouse very easily in order to dial in the weight that you want. A plus is that the scroll wheel is fully metal which gives it a nice weight and feel; additionally there’s a button below the scroll wheel that you can click that will toggle the scroll wheel from traditional “notched” scrolling to a loose “free” scrolling which makes scrolling down long web pages a breeze. The scroll wheel also can be tilted to the left or right with two additional programmable “buttons” to give you more functionality (I use these to equip frag grenades and such in FPS games more easily). If you get this mouse you MUST get the software for it in order to unlock full functionality including button programming and RGB color change options.

I like that you can adjust the weight. Different DPI speed. I still use it everyday.

This mouse is absolutely perfect for me, with adjustable dpi and some extra programmable buttons there is nothing else I need. Its also extremely comfortable in my hand and the freespinning wheel option is so much fun to just play with.

The 11 customizable buttons allow me to quickly switch between tasks. The weight system can be adjusted from 121 to 139 grams and the sensor is accurate up to 16,000 DPI. The cord is thinner and less prone to snagging. Overall a great great mouse.

I haven't mapped all the buttons yet - but product is exactly as advertised. Love the RGB lighting. It's perfectly subtle and matches my entire station. The mouse wheel is sturdy and precise. There are multiple buttons on the sides and can be extremely customized for gaming or work!

I've purchased this item before and it's 2 years old now, and I got another laptop, so I went back to the old faithful brand and style for the second laptop. The first one is fine. And my spouse has the third one :) this mouse is afantastic weight, feel and comfort and has adjustments for adding more weight included with the purchase. The cord has had massive daily abuse for two years without fail. It's also traveled in backpacks on many trips. Whereas my precious "other brand" mouse didn't last 6 mo with similar gaming activity. Totally worth it

Absolutely love this mouse. It comes with weights so you can change how you want it to feel in your hand and comes with toggle buttons on the side that make it faster to navigate the internet, making it feel justified even when I'm using it to work rather than to game.

Product works as advertised - I plugged it in and it works just fine. It is easy to use and comfortable to handle. I have no complaints whatsoever. Also I would like to give a shout-out to the techies who work at Best Buy UES. They are highly knowledgeable, very friendly, and patient enough to work with an old guy like me, who grew up without computers.

Fairly comfortable and lots of flexible options depending on how heavy you want the mouse to be, or sensitive, or how smoothly the wheel scrolls! The only complaint I can think of is that a lot of the features do have a little bit of a learning curve, but for basic use, this mouse is excellent.

For the price, it works great for me. Both my son and I have one. It's not complicated with too many buttons. It's just right and responsive enough for my style of gaming. My son likes his too. I would buy it again.

The best gaming mouse got updated, and it is even better now. So far this mouse adds in RGB lighting effects, and higher DPI, and keeps all the other great things like the adjustable weight system and spot on comfort! Great mouse!
