Mouse is performing amazingly, with no complaints. The wire for it is durable and flexible at the same time so cord management is easy and safe. You can adjust the weight of the mouse with the weights that come with the mouse to really get an exact fit out of the thing. You can also customize the LED lights, set keybinds, and DPI profiles for seamless transitions from one activity to another. I am extremely impressed so far with the quality of the mouse.

This mouse is fantastic! It fits the hand very comfortably, comes with weights to customize how heavy it is, has a customizable RGB logo, an alloy scroll wheel, and programmable buttons. It looks slick and works great. I dont use it for gaming as I actually bought it to do 3D rendering, but I'm sure it would make any gamer proud!
I would recommend this to a friend

Great Upgrade but a Few Flaws...

I've had this mouse for a few months now and I absolutely love it. I am upgrading from the Corsair Glaive, so naturally, I would prefer a heavy mouse. This mouse grants you the option to add weights to the bottom of it via a small compartment, and have added as many as I could.
However, I noticed that if you add a weight near the magnetic closure piece, it will make the back plate to access the weight compartment more likely to fall off, and this can result in your mouse not being able to sense the tabletop as well and overall interrupt gameplay. I remedied this by just not having a weight in that slot. Otherwise, this mouse is everything I could have wanted. I love all the buttons I can keybind and the fact I can unlock the scroll wheel.
Now, here's something else that is not so great... This mouse utilizes the Logitech software to allow you to customize it, but I also have a Blue Yeti, so it also automatically links to this software. The software for the Blue Yeti is terrible, and has made is so my microphone doesn't function as well. I had to go through the trouble of completely disabling the software from modifying my Blue Yeti.

A great wired gaming mouse with a easy to use utility app. Feels great in the hand and if you want a more heavier feel to the mouse. It comes with a small case of 3.6 gram of weights that you can insert in the mouse to make it on the heavier side. I didn't need to use the weights, since I felt comfortable with the weight of the mouse out of the box. It's simply a sleek looking comfortable mouse that gets the job done without having to break the bank.

I enjoy the ergonomics of this mouse as well as the customizable dpi. For a lower-priced mouse this has several benefits. I also like the optional weights. For me, adding a little heft to the mouse gave me a better experience with the mouse.
Mom get off the chair, it's not that kind of mouse

I love that it can gain weight or lose it in a few simple moves. It gives me hope for my own weight loss. (There are five 3.6g weights you can add or remove from the base of the mouse.) Great for stability control.
I do not like the RGB light. It looks nice, but why? It's not a piece of art. It's a piece of equipment and the light does nothing to improve game play so I'm confused as to why it is there.
It simply works. It's task is to move the pointer around the screen and it does this easily. With the cord I also don't have to worry about the battery running out at the wrong time. I also don't have to worry about if I am too far away for the signal. Very nice product over all.

one of the best mice ive ever had, used to have a razer one but decided to switch to logitech, never been a fan of rgb lights but i do enjoy how only the logo lights up
Thank you for your kind words about the G502 HERO! We’re glad to hear the switch from Razer has been rewarding and that the subtle logo lighting perfectly matches your preference.

I had used the Logitech brand in low-end electrics but I decided to give my son this mouse as a gift and well, delighted, appearance, ergonomics, quality and the easy way to program and use that I decided to buy the keyboard to enjoy the full performance, recommended you can add the weight you want to the mouse and do with it everything you imagine for games, it shipped quickly and on time.

I went from a basic wireless mouse this this beast. What a difference! I was really hesitant to go wired, but it's proving to really pay off. You just can not compare the responsiveness of wired vs wireless. It is also really cool to be able to program all the buttons using the Logitech software. It's made my gameplay on Minecraft and Fortnite SO much better. I have not tried the included weights, but I don't feel like I need them. Great mouse! Go wired!

The weighs that come with it are a big plus since I tend to prefer the mouse to be on the heavier side, the scroll release button also comes in handy when trying to scroll a slow scrolling website/software.
Thanks for the review! The adjustable weights on the G502 HERO sound perfect for you, allowing you to personalize the weight for optimal comfort and control during gameplay. The scroll wheel release button is another handy feature for navigating long web pages or documents. We're glad you like it!

I decided on this mouse because I have big hands and I saw this one recommended on reddit. Its perfect. I used simple razer mice since 2007 and switched to this one for a new pc. It's better than any razer mouse I've used with its adjustable weight, neat little thumb rest, and sweet scroll button. Some people who own this mouse don't realize that the scroll wheel has 2 settings that can be changed by these two little buttons just below the wheel.

Perfect gaming mouse. Comes with weights. This is an amazing mouse at such a great value. If you are looking for a gaming mouse, and not trying to spend $300, this is the one. I don’t need anything better.

Excellent Replacement for a Logitech G9x

I am replacing a Logitech G9x with the G502. While not quite as comfortable as the G9x, this mouse is very comfortable for individuals with larger hands and I value the infinite scroll wheel. It is easy to adjust the DPI settings with the software and save them as profiles. I occasionally notice a 'double click issue' where clicking the left mouse button once registers on my computer twice. It can be frustrating, but does not occur often enough to be a deal breaker.

Out of the box, this mouse feels good and is ready to use - the full suite of features, though, aren't available to you until you go to the Logitech website and install the full device software executable. That allows for the full RGB color changing, extra button action selection, and a method of altering the DPI stages for the mouse.
I wish that the software installed on its own, but the extra step is easy to do with most internet connections and unlocks the full potential of this mouse. I don't use the weights for the plate on the underside of the mouse, but I know some also like those and there are enough at your disposal.

This is a great mouse for gaming. I mainly play FPS and though many people think this g502 is too heavy for FPS, I actually prefer it - I think its mostly kids who can't move a heavy mouse. Plus the weight is adjustable (I use it with all weights though). Apart from gaming, the scroll wheel has infinite scroll option which is simply superior when browsing or reading. Logitech mouse and KBs are simply amazing and this mouse is one of their best.
