Was a last minute necessity and glad Best Buy is open during Covid times. If not for the last minute need, probably wouldn't have purchased this cable though.

I am not the type to spend a ton of money on cables so maybe I am missing something but it seems to work just fine.

Not for Samsung tablets

It didn't but thank goodness I had a kindle as well it fit the plug perfect so I use that instead. I'm giving it a 4/5 star because what I originally needed it for didn't work otherwise it's a great product just be sure what plugbyou have

Does just what I needed

I needed to hook the output of my new solid state digital camera to my HD projector so I could view the video on the big screen. The video quality of the transmitted image is sharp, clear, and steady. Can't ask for more than that.

All I needed was a cable about eight inches long, but eight FEET was the only length Best Buy had. It works fine and the monitor is a nice addition to my camera bag. I'll buy a shorter cable somewhere.

It is very simple and better than the ones that require a second bulky adapter to be put on before a full HDMI cable. Also note that the adapter may block usage of the usb or other ports that you may need on your laptop such was my case.
