I chose this particular one from the recommendation of the Best Buy associate. A nice compact smart ready Bluetooth adapter. I didn't have Bluetooth on my new gaming computer. It is easy to use and connect. It performs well, connected easily on my computer, and made adding Bluetooth devices very easy.

This is a quality low-profile Bluetooth adapter. It has reliably connected with all of my devices, including my Logitech MX Keys, and there haven't been any observable disconnections. I also purchased another for an older laptop and it's barely noticeable, and inobtrusive enough to leave inserted.

I'm using this for my work desktop and it works flawlessly. I haven't experienced any lags or connectivity issues. I use it for headphones and a speaker. I would recommend this adapter.

Works really well but it didnt like my front side USB ports, had to use a port in the back. Now with using Windows Phone Link I can make and take calls through my PC using my very comfortable gaming headset instead of having my phone on speaker nor have to use an annoying bluetooth headset that get painful to wear for long periods of time. My work is 90% home based.

I recently bought a Bluetooth mouse, but didn't realize that the laptop I was going to put it with didn't have Bluetooth! The first thing I did was got on the Best Buy website and did a search for a USB Bluetooth adapter. I immediately found this awesome Asus part that does exactly what is needed! Just plug it in and go. It doesn't get any better than that! I am very happy with this purchase.

Works on the first time plugging in. Didn’t have to load any drivers or fiddle with any settings. All my devices can see it with no problem. Of course Asus is a trusted brand, and this doesn’t disappoint.

Bought this for my son's gaming PC, so he could have his noise canceling headset and even his ear buds paired with his PC so he could game without filling the entire upstairs with loud game sounds/music. This BT adapter, worked straight out of the box, no drivers needed PNP on Windows 11 worked flawlessly. Paired with his noice canceling headset and even his Anker Soundcore X20 ear buds connected first time, everytime.

Had to purchase this after Best Buy installed a motherboard without Bluetooth (and didn't tell me). This Bluetooth adapter works great! Very easy to set up and picks up everything that my laptop does without fail! Great piece of equipment to have if your device needs Bluetooth!

Does exactly what it's supposed to, gave me bluetooth 5.0 connectivity on my PC that previously had none. The range is pretty impressive for such a small device, it can reach about 30+ ft from my bedroom to my Kitchen before it starts cutting out. My motherboard’s Bluetooth/Wi-Fi kept crapping out on me mid game so I went to get this dongle. After disabling my Bluetooth in bios, this dongle was plug and play. I use the Xbox controller on my pc and it has not shown any noticeable lag. Great product for $20

Small easy to install, obscure. The price could be less. Still it works in my building that has metal meshing in the walls. So yea it works.

I had persistent audio dropouts and stuttering with my Bluetooth speaker and initially thought Windows was the problem. After some digging, I discovered the real issue was the ASUS USB‑BT500 dongle storing old pairing data internally. Even after removing devices in Windows, “ghost” devices kept coming back and interfering with audio. To fix it, I verified Windows wasn’t the source (empty Bluetooth cache, clean registry), then uninstalled the dongle in Device Manager and physically unplugged it to force a full hardware reset. After plugging it back in, Windows reinstalled it cleanly, all ghost devices disappeared, and audio performance immediately stabilized. The problem wasn’t Windows — it was the dongle re‑injecting old pairing data. A full reset completely solved it.
