Only about 25 channels are coming through and even then the antenna sometimes needs to be moved to get clearer reception. I should note that the antenna is being used on the second floor of a five story building located approximately 8 miles from downtown Chicago.

I can get over 20 local channels free with this handy dandy thing. Let me give you an overview of free channels, though. I live on a hill overlooking the city. I'm very close to the Atlantic Broadband/Breezeline network (btw, they were charging us $20 a month for those free local channels). This is why I get so many channels. If you're in the country somewhere you're not going to get the same results. I've completely cut the cable cord. I have my free local channels and I get streaming service. I'm saving about $150 a month. I love this thing!

Small but it works
