It's an apple tag. The price went up per tag recently which I would think Apple would lower the cost since they have more users to spread the costs but assuming they didn't have the foresight to be cost effective with their scalability at the time of the product inception. It works well. Wish they wouldn't exclude the use of OSX for these.

Love these! You connect the Apple AirTag to your Apple iPhone and your iPhone will alert you when it detects your device the tag is attached to is “left behind” with an approximate address. Be sure to order an Apple AirTag case to place the Apple AirTag inside of prior to use. It’s great for keys, luggage, bags, etc.

This product works exactly as it advertises. I bought three AirTags for my wallet, car keys and house keys since I often misplace these items. I initially thought about buying the Tiles, but then I saw that Apple came up with their own version and I knew I just had to get them.
It is very easy to set up and to use. They are a little bulkier than I would have liked, but I love that I can attach them to keys, bags, luggage, or any item I don't want to lose. Keep in mind that it DOES NOT come with the key chain holders.
Since I bought them, I've already used them a couple of times to locate my keys. I love that it has the same GPS tracking featured on iPhones in the event you lose your items while running errands or traveling. I usually just use the "Play Sound" function to find my items since I usually lose my items in my house. It has precise tracking where it can lead you straight to your item, but I'm not able to use that feature since it is only compatible for the newer iPhones such as 11 and above.
If you tend to lose important items and love Apple products, I highly recommend these. It remains to be seen if these will last a long time while being attached to my keys, but I look forward to seeing if they last.

Great product and great service, used it for international travel and put it in my checked luggage and showed me all places it has traveled without any issues.

I got the air tag to track my dog, she had gotten lost a couple of weeks prior, I am able to see exactly where she is, gives me a great sense of ease that I know where she is whenever I need.

This little Apple tag worked very well on a recent trip from Colorado through Philly to Boston and Return. It kept me informed of my baggage location at all times. No worry about whether or not it would make it passed all the baggage handlers. Get this if you travel a lot. Peace of mind.

bought this solely as a gps tracker on my car, sports car vibes. everytime I’m away from my car it lets me know. I get updates and all. good stuff but then again it’s an apple product.

I use these to track our vehicles. Also to track Grandma who lives alone and doesn't have a phone that can use Find My. Haven't had to change a battery yet. Seems to want to communicate with nearby phones. some nearby people have mentioned they are getting a message about something trying to connect. not sure what that's about.

AirTags work very well and saving roughly $20 when buying 4 is a decent deal. The year-long ilfe-span of the battery is not bad when considering the constant—albeit small—power draw of Bluetooth connectivity. Overall, AirTags are well-built, utilitarian devices, that find themselves at home within the Apple ecosystem.
