I’ve experienced a faster cooking air fryer but I like the extra size

This Ninja product is simply fantastic. It has such versatility and performs well as an air fryer, toaster and oven. These are the only functions I've used so far and I expect the others to work just as well. To me it just seems precision. It has taken the place of my full-sized oven for most tasks.

First one only lasted less than 2 weeks. Started making a horrible noise in back and vibrated and then quit heating. Call ninja up and they diagnosed and swnt me a new base. Dont know how i feel about having to pay taxes on the warranty base after 2 weeks and then i was left with the junk one to dispose of. Would i buy again ?

Oven is the perfect size, cleans easily, instruction booklet good, could have more specific directions for foods but still works. However the interior light and control panel flicker wentever the door is open or when setting the cooking mode.

Awesome product. Compact and fits easily on our counter. Makes cooking smaller meals quick and easy. A must have for any kitchen.

This is an awesome oven to have. It does so much and it does it well. Replaced many appliances and made cooking meals so much easier for me! I love it. One thing is, it is very loud in air fry mode. Sale price was fantastic and made it an even better purchase.

great product, a big forward step in comparison to my Cuisinart, with several more options, this product free up more space in my countertop by removing several appliances.

This oven is so nice I like not having to use my wall oven. I have baked cookies and cakes in it. I’ve also made a pasta dish meatloaf roast beef as well. It preheats quickly the temperature seems to stay consistent and it’s easy to clean. So pleased that we bought this!

My previous Air fryer was a basket style, but unfortunately, we had to move on after a recall. I decided to seal the deal and got this oven-style air fryer. So far, my experience has been wonderful. The smart thermometer is very convenient. Even better, my family used the ninja to cook our Thanksgiving turkey, which was great! It cooked perfectly and was very moist. The only thing to keep in mind is when using the air fry setting, be sure to use the right tray to make it easier to clean for yourself later.

I had an earlier version which I thought was subpar, especially for air frying. I read the reviews for this version, and thought "maybe they got their stuff together and this will be an upgrade." Yah, I was wrong. If you've never used a designated air fryer, then I suppose you wouldn't know what you're missing out on, and think this oven was great, and therefore the solid reviews would make sense. However, if you're like me, and have previously used a designated air fryer, you'll know the air fryer option really doesn't do well and the overall experience wasn't worth the price tag. The perks of this machine though, are that it preheats pretty fast and allows me to do other things other than air frying, which keeps my standard oven clear for bigger cooks, or not have to turn it on at all. My husband loves when I use the air roast on veggies, and you can also roast/bake bigger items than your average air fryer. I have noticed with my previous Ninja oven, that as time went on (about 8 or so months) and the oven was used more, I had to start tacking on more and more cook time to cook things I was previously cooking at shorter time lengths. So I have suspicions that this will do the same thing. I've also noticed that this machine makes the same clunks and rattles as the last. I was hoping that would be resolved with a new purchase also. I will keep it, because as mentioned I enjoy the convenience of a quick preheat, but unless they actually get this thing improved, my air fryer adventures will come from a different company.

Had to exchange the first one we got, maybe it was a lemon. But after the everything we cook in this has been amazing. even cooking on the wire rack

This little oven gets used more use than our full size. It's big enough to hold large items and it heats up in an instant.

This will be the only appliance you will need in your kitchen to bake, toast, air fry & plus more. I baked brownies with less time & they came out perfectly. It is easy to use. The function buttons make it easy to perfectly set your setting & timer. I highly recommend.

Needed a replacement for my Instant Omni Plus which had a fading LCD screen. Need a unit on larger side which this fits the bill and plenty of rack positions to make a meal, even did a whole Turkey Breast nicely with temp probe. Biggest problem though is time it takes to pre-heat and accurate temp readings. It pre-heats in 90 seconds but only to barely 200 degrees. So if I set some french fries at 400 for 12 mins, It doesn't hit 400 until after 10 mins have elapsed so the food is not cooked fully. Done all sorts of testing/measurements with two thermometers and baking is the worse which you often need a consistent level. Anything under 375 is usually about 25 degrees too low and anything over 375 can be about 25-50 degrees low. I contacted Shark for a replacement base unit, but it did the same exact thing so it must be by design? Too much guessing on what to set it and long pre-heat times are not something I expected to have to deal with and manage on a Ninja/Shark branded item. Your mileage may vary I guess?

This is a fantastic investment if you like an “all in one” air fryer! I’m only just beginning, but I’m having a blast so far using it! My food comes out perfect EVERY time! Invest in the accessories also! Get the ceramic baking dish, oven liners to catch the excess drip/particles to make cleaning easier. Also I highly recommend using parchment paper sheets. The Reynold’s brand actually fits the sheets/trays perfectly!

I have used it so far as air fryer, roster and baker and the food was cooked right. Having the thermometer option to stop the cooking once the food reach the desired temperature is great. The only con is the noise but I think it maybe normal for air fryers

Purchased the Ninja Smart XL Pro Air Oven in store. The sales was quite helpful and the item was in stock. Have used it for toast, pizza and reheat. It works well, but need to experiment with timing and temperature settings. It seems to be a quality product.
