This means for kids, an adult has to select the input each time the TV is turned on, rather than opening to the last viewed channel.

Any other future tv we need will be this brand! And the remote is very accurate which is a nice change to the usual luck we have!

It's a FireTV so has the familiarity of a Fire Stick and allows you to download all kinds of apps for your streaming needs.

I don’t think I can possibly express my disappointment in the operation of the fire stick. I knew it wasn’t going to be as sophisticated as the Comcast remote, but I had no idea it was that basic. If I had known that, I never would’ve made the purchase. The fire stick remote is kind of a joke. I am not a technical person so I don’t know what it takes to going into programming and I’m assuming that it must be expensive to do it correctly . This remote is so basic and it takes so many steps to complete one action, that it’s really pathetic. I hate the fire stick… End of story. And if you’re going to write me back and ask me why I don’t use Alexa… I do. Alexa is just as bad as the remote control. She never gets anything right… Sometimes it takes two or three times to repeat something… And she’s extremely slow… Actually make that just in general, the TV And anything you ask it to do take such a long time. Just to put one positive spin on this horrendous review, the TV is great. I have absolutely no problems with the TV…it works fabulously… It’s just that I can’t stand using it because of the tediousness of the remote control!!!

Audio quality is just average, so don’t expect much. Broadband wifi streaming functions great.
