Unfortunately if you ever have to replace your remote, it's awful. The ones that are affordable are junk, and the ones that work like they're supposed to (ie support Alexa) are $35-40. Considering I paid less than $150 for the tv, that's pretty ridiculous. It is also extremely difficult and time consuming to figure out WHICH "Replacement Remote for Insignia FireTV" is supposed to be compatible, even if you have the tv model #. We spent the first half of this year living in a safehouse for victims of domestic violence and I only started to get back on my feet this past summer. This was my first (and only) big purchase for our new home and therefore meant a lot to me. Unfortunately my son dropped the original remote 2 weeks later, and then I found this whole process very frustrating. It's a shame. At least now I know one more thing to check before buying electronics.

It isn’t smooth and will lag every now and then. It doesn’t affect anything while using your apps but only while navigating through your library and settings. I’ve had this for a year and a half and it’s not bad. For the money, it’s pretty worth it but be prepared to get frustrated with the OS
