I added a 500gb m2 ssd and made it the primary drive which works out great. I had to keep the existing small drive (it’s soldered in) and set it up as extra storage. I upgraded the N WiFi card to WiFI AX card - works good now. I just use it for internet and a checkbook program of which the celeron chip is adequate - no gaming.

It's tiny, which makes it good for travel. My husband uses just for email since he prefers having a mouse and somewhat larger screen compared to his phone.

Nice little computer but the battery will go from 100% to 20% charge even if not used for several days other than that it is nice.

Functions great ,operates perfectly. If it had a little more memory and a little faster processor would be perfect. But you can't complain about what you get for the price

This little laptop works amazing! I would not have expected this type of performance from something like this considering the amount of money I paid for it. Speed and battery life is a bonus as well. Very happy with my purchase!

Fun little machine, I got mine as open box as it's a little pricey for what it is. I had to turn off "S" mode so I could load Kindle Reader as it's not in MS store. I bought this to replace an Amazon fire unit. Would be a great kids machine to limit downloading 3rd party software.

Small and lightweight, this notebook has all the functions I have found most useful. It is easy to operate, with a smooth-operating, clearly-marked keypad, and a combined mousepad/number pad (number pad option switches on/off with a touch). The Windows software performed smoothly and quickly. A good value.

I just needed a laptop for a short business engagement. This product is a snap to get up and running. Comprehensive design. Speeds are fast enough to complete any task. Though small, it is a compliment to getting work done. I’m not a computer wiz; however, I do recommend this product.

I bought this laptop to keep in my vehicle just in case I need access to tge internet more than a phone can provide while on the go. This little laptop is perfect for that task. This is not a laptop for heavy hitting computer needs. Also, I upgraded the HD to a NVME SSD which was a nice upgrade

The laptop I purchased in-store that is linked with this Best Buy listing is the ASUS E210M. The product photos do not properly correlate with the actual product received. The keyboard layout is different and there is no SD card slot on this model. Scroll to the bottom of my review for exact specifications from the box.
The form factor of this netbook is overall very nice, easy to type on, and enjoyable. But that's where the niceties end. While the number pad on the touch pad is an innovative use of space, the on/off function for this feature is accidentally actuated during normal touch pad use. If the on/off feature were a keyboard combination, it would have been better. Overall the use of the number pad is not as good a using a real number pad but is infinitely better than not having a number pad at all, especially when using the calculator app on a netbook with no touch screen.
The screen has horrible viewing angles even for normal laptop use. A tablet in the same price bracket would be a better viewing experience- especially if you wanted to stream something to watch.
Productivity on this device is best done in the cloud within Microsoft Edge. If all you were to do was use Microsoft Edge for a majority of your work, this netbook is a pretty good option and will function for that. Anything more and the CPU wants to choke.
Task manager shows the CPU hitting upwards of 100% just for moving the mouse across the screen. You're not going to want to have more than 4 tabs open at once. Doing anything while streaming a video will cause the video to buffer because the computer is throttling. However, the speakers aren't really loud enough to make streaming very functional without subtitles (I used YouTube and Pluto TV to test my unit).
Battery life on this thing is impressive. You can thank the low resolution screen and the low power CPU for that benefit. If you're looking for something akin to a typewriter to work on Word documents or Excel while on the road, this netbook could be your friend for that.
Despite the 4gb of memory and 64 gb of storage, I went ahead and did download Steam to it and a couple of low intensity games: Forager and Crypt of the Necrodancer.
Forager is a very lightweight game and this netbook noticeably throttles while playing it even when optimized and balanced power settings are disabled. However, you can play it for hours on end because the battery life of this netbook is so efficient even at full-power. Based on the throttling, I didn't go ahead with Crypt of the Necrodancer.
Setup took hours because this unit is very slow. If you were thinking about giving this to a kid for their birthday or Christmas (please get them a better laptop), you'd want to set it up ahead of time so that Windows 11 fully does its routine and updates and can be actually usable when turned on. And keep in mind that this ships with S mode activated, so you have to disabled S mode and reboot it in order to download anything that isn't in the Microsoft app store.
As I said, there is no SD card slot. However, the I/O on this budget device is robust and includes a full HDMI port, a USB C port, USB A ports, and a headphone jack. I wasn't able to fully test the USB C port because my display dock has been malfunctioning, so I can't confirm whether it has display out through USB C but can confirm that data and sound do go through it. It seems it cannot be charged or powered via USB C, sadly. You're stuck using the proprietary charger for that.
At only 64 gb of storage, once Windows 11 is fully setup and updated there is only about 20 gb of space left on the eMMC drive. While this is plenty of space for using Microsoft Office and doing some video conferencing, you're stuck with only using USB storage devices to extend the usability of this computer.
Overall, I'd say most people are better off getting a tablet in the same price bracket because mobile apps take up less space and use less power. A tablet with the same specifications could be far more usable and versatile. The only reason to get this netbook is if you prefer the netbook form factor over a tablet and if you need a Windows operating system to do your work. But it is so underpowered for anything more than word processing and cloud computing. You're better off with double RAM on a pricier unit (and actual expandable storage).

Impressive value when it’s on sale, especially if all you need is a cheap MS Office box. This will not run games besides ones in a browser. Hardware wise, it has a mediocre screen and speakers but a good keyboard. It has an M.2 slot for additional storage, but non upgradeable ram.
