I have had no issues with this keyboard! Pretty much plug and play. I would give it 5 stars but you can definitely feel how cheap the materials are, so not the most comfortable typing experience.

I would rate the overall protection of the the iPad extremely high and the keyboard works well. My only negative is a personal experience issue. Getting the protection and keyboard functionality changes the iPad from an elegant design and feel to something heavy and clunky.

Just what I wanted

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is just what I wanted for my iPad 10th Generation: hard case, no touch pad, secure grip on the iPad, no detachable keyboard, iPad sits up when open and can also lay flat against the keyboard. It's a very well made, sturdy case, & the keyboard is easy to use & has large keys. This type of case was hard to find. The only things I wish were different is that it came in black, the keyboard was backlit, and the case had a slot for the Apple pen inside the case instead of a soft loop sticking out on the outside (it gets in the way). However, these are all minor. This is the first keyboard case I've had that is powered by batteries instead of an electric charger, so I hope they last a long time.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesnt want to spend $250 for an apple branded one that doesnt feel as good as this keyboard. Love the fact that you can detach the keyboard!

Although I was only able to get it in gray, it is the functionality snd price which made it a “Best Buy”. I had one for my last iPad and would buy it again with my next one.
