But overall, I am not happy with this purchase at all. The tv needs to be repeatedly restarted nearly every day because it just stops displaying anything- especially if I’m watching local channels. This is my second Toshiba Fire TV.

Poor Customer care

It’ll be my first and last open box purchase. The tv was not functional. After 8 hours on the phone with support I made the 50 mile drive back to Bestbuy to swap the tv and the manager on duty was an jerk. First he commented “well, it is a Toshiba” inferring that Toshibas were just bad TVs. This was our 3rd Toshiba for the house. The other have been great. No issues for several years. I asked if he could discount the new one to the open box price since it did not work and i specifically asked if the tv worked before I picked it up. He refused to budge even though their lie to me cost me about $25 extra in fuel as well as 10 hrs of my time. He was a younger guy that didn’t care that my purchase from their store had caused me extra grief. I will not make any further purchases from Best Buy. They won’t be in business long with managers like this.
