The cooling fans on this Dell would randomly fire up, and were loud. And the display was not as clear as the description would lead you to believe. I had a 5 year old basic laptop that had a screen resolution that was similar to this Dell's.

Decent computer

The speakers are fine until you play any music, and then they are awful. If you plan to use it at home, it should be fine, but as a comuter machine from home to office, it would be a killer. It weighs a TON. On the plus side, the case is super solid nd if you're like me, that's a really good thing.
