Customers are satisfied with the Tab P12's large screen size, impressive battery life, and good sound quality. Many appreciate the ample storage and find the included pen to be a valuable addition, along with the tablet's ease of use. While some wish for a wider selection of accessories and note the tablet's weight, the overall experience is positive, especially considering the price.

Large screen size, fast and responsive, included pen, 256gb of storage = best value. I do wish it was a little more square like an iPad but ive gotten used to it. I feel like I got a better value than a large format iPad. The configuration options for Android 14 are in many ways superior to IOS. I also like that it includes both fingerprint and face recognition. Highly recommend

Super happy with this tablet! I picked it up after return a different Lenovo tablet I got from Best Buy.
I recently gave my iPad Pro 12.9 M1 to my teenage son so he can use it for school and games/social-media; and have been looking for an inexpensive tablet for myself to do basic things (tiktok, instagram, web browsing, check work email). I tried 2 different Chromebooks and an android tablet around the same $200 price mark but was disappoint with all of them.
This tablet was my last try with Android before going back to iPads and am happy I picked it up!
The screen is gorgeous, not as beautiful as the OLED from the Lenovo Duet 5 but honestly I can't see any difference while I scroll through emails or tiktoks. :)
Any games I threw at it has worked fine, Diablo Immortal, Gengshin Impact, World of Wars, Angry Birds.
I can easily check my work email, connect to my work One Drive and edit Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files. Or if I want, I can work on them offline right on the tablet since all the apps are available on the Google Play Store.
Will also add that the Desktop mode is awesome! I connected my bluetooth keyboard and mouse and used it like a desktop computer without the limitations some Chromebooks have.
My only gripe is how slippery it is! I held off buying a case for this in case I hated it but at the end of day one, I picked up a soft-gel case and am happy with it.
Highly recommended for those who want a large screen tablet for basic tasks and gaming - I feel like this tablet can handle anything else I'll throw at it, it has not slowed down, skipped, crashed, or frozen all day.
The pen is nice too, it came with it - I won't have much use for it, but if you are into that, it's there. :)
Oh and it has a fingerprint reader and can do face-scan to unlock. Nice features to have!

After contemplating a Tab s10 ultra and other very similar tablets, I decided to grab this. Its cost efficient, the PC Mode is absolutely gorgeous and fantastic and allows for a absolutely seamless experience with floating windows and the ability to rearrange them wherever you like whenever you like, it has the ability to minimize, expand and close like a regular window pc would and honestly you wouldn't know you were working a tablet because Lenovo has it set up to look just like your desktop. So its very comfy in that aspect. Ive rigged it up to use VSCode, Figma and other tools I need and set it up as a office space for paper work out in the field. It has been an amazing experience so far and was worth the money spent on it.
If there is 1 thing I would change on this, It would be its RAM size. It is now year 2025, and I personally feel anything less then a minimum of 12 to 16gb of RAM is a little criminal. Having 8gb of ram will become tough later on when doing larger projects BUT but I have yet to see it overloaded so i think it is pretty well optimized for its 8gb of RAM

If you are looking for a large-screen tablet that is a little more on the affordable side, this is the tablet for you. The build is solid, the display is crisp and bright, and the hardware is quicker than I expected. Audio quality is also good. My only complaint would be that the pen does not charge when magnetically attached to the tablet but has a USB-C port that you charge it with. Due to its size it is naturally a little on the heavier side, so I would definitely recommend the folio case from Lenovo.

Good tablet - but a bit pricey. It runs Android fast, connects to Wi-Fi and bluetooth well. Screen is great - and has high resolution, which creates an extremely sharp image. Sound is also good from tiny speakers. Battery life is excellent.

The Lenovo Tab P12 with Tab Pen is a great tablet with a sharp 12.6-inch OLED display and smooth performance. The pen is precise and responsive, perfect for drawing or taking notes. It’s fast, has long battery life, and a sleek design. Overall, it's a versatile and high-quality tablet.

It's a nice size - not too big nor too small nor too heavy. The display is bright and colorful. Videos play smoothly and the sound is okay - not great but not annoyingly tinny. It was easy to set up - tho' being in my 60's, my in-house tech son had to help with the more complicated tasks, such as connecting to our home network so I could access certain files from my PC.
The fingerprint scanner is crap. It's a tiny slim apparatus on the side of the tablet, so you can't place your entire fingerprint on it. It's NEVER worked for me. I YouTubed the feature and I've set it up several times and it just doesn't work, doesn't recognize my fingerprints, so I have to rely on a PIN. I have the Samsung Ultra phone as well and it also has an issue with fingerprints. My hands are in and out of water all the time, which seems to affect this feature. Sorry, Samsung, that I like clean hands.
The tablet doesn't seem to shut off the display automatically when I close the cover, which my old Samsung tablet did; so its not reacting to the cover as it should. It would save more on battery time if it did.
I don't like the little skinny line on the bottom to swipe. And why are there settings for 2 finger swipe, three finger swipe? - that's ridiculous.
Battery life seems to be meh. Doesn't seem to last as long as my old Samsung, which could last days. Now I need to make sure its plugged in every night (noticed this with my new phone as well, Samsung!) or it'll shut down mid-morning next day.
I don't use the pen; in my opinion, its fussy and you have to remember to charge that as well. I have enough things to keep track of to keep charged to worry about that. And I've never been comfortable using one of those anyway on an electronic device. I use the tablet mainly for reading, pulling up recipes to use off our home network or to look up recipes online and to run certain wifi appliances and apps around my home.
Overall, its a nice tablet with some nice features but not the best I've seen out there. I think Samsung has downgraded some features, which is quite noticeable if you've had Samsung devices previously.
As a recommendation, wait until it goes on sale.

Powered by a high-performance processor and ample RAM, the Tab P12 handles everything I throw at it with ease. From running multiple apps simultaneously to playing graphics-intensive games, the performance is smooth and lag-free. The battery life is also commendable, lasting through a full day of heavy use without needing a recharge.

Nice, big screen tablet at reasonable price. The Lenovo Tab P12 offers an impressive display that's perfect for streaming videos, reading e-books, and browsing the web. Its generous screen size provides excellent clarity and vivid colors, making it a joy to use for both work and entertainment. Despite the premium features and high-quality build, I found the price point to be quite affordable compared to similar tablets on the market. The included Lenovo Tab Pen Plus is a welcome bonus, making this an excellent value package for anyone seeking a versatile tablet experience.

The specifications should actually make them run identical or Higher Performance than the latest Samsung's of similar price and size groups. I have purchased Samsung's since the first 32GB, 10 inch screen, $500 plus dollar units dominated the market. And the Samsung Build. Almost indestructible! Put a full case on and it can survive a falls down the stairs! Done it, been there, still worked, (Gorilla Glass)) you could sit on the screen without breakage !
Tomorrow I put the Lenovo's performance! I will give you a comprehensive review. First time a reviewed a non Samsung Tablet, so give me a Break or So Guidance would be Helpful!!!!!
This Lenovo looks Great! And comes with pen and includes a replacement tip. I'll order a bag of 20 when I decide to keep it which I can't imagine returning it ???????? This Tablet in a turning point in Lenovo's use of AI on their High End tablets.
I shall unveil my results over the weekend probably Sunday because if I'm going Lenovo in my Tablets I want to Really document it as to No Questions!
I like Lenovo but returned my first 2 laptops. But, doesn't mean they don't kick butt on Tablets!

Good screen, great that you can sink it with your phone. However, very bad that you cannot use Yahoo Mail app on it. Called Lenova service when difficulty happened and after 45 min on hold and speaking with them their only suggestion was to do a factory reset. Then wouldn't even stay on the phone to make sure it worked! Rep said I would have to call back if it didn't, even when I told him I had just opened it and was setting it up when I found the problem. I found that the reset did not work within 2-3 minutes of hanging up with him! Took it to Best Buy where I purchased it and after about 20 minutes, the Geek Squad found that the Yahoo app will not work with the software on this tablet. Had to even change something in the settings to be able to access my email from the web as it still tried to send me to the app, and it had been deleted. A little concerned about future software incompatibilities. Not impressed with Lenova service! Thanks to Geek Squad though!

Its more rectangular than i thought it would have been but thats my fault for not double checking the length vs width. Otherwise its a solid device, i love it! I prefer android over apple, my last tablet was an apple and going back an forth from my phone to apple drove me nuts but i wanted the 12.9" size.
This size is close enough and its quick, easy to use and not heavy either.

I love my tablet! I have the Lenovo Tab P12 with Tab pen plus. I use my tablet in multiple ways such as watching movies, using office, taking notes and this tablet is not a slouch. I read some of the reviews and the tablet that is on sale on the Lenovo website is the 8gb and 128 model and it is not this model that we are reviewing so I wanted to correct some of the reviewers. The model that we are reviewing is 8gb and 256 model. The tablet has split screen which allows me to multitask effortlessly. I choose the right tablet to meet my needs and the selling point for me was the 12.7 inch display which is awesome so I love my tablet and I would recommend this tablet to anyone that is looking for a great tablet to multitask on effortlessly.
