Excellent Laptop I purchased last year. I waited to provide this review after a year exactly. Go this one for my college kid and she is regularly using it for her studies daily. Love the touch screen and performance with it. Great product guys def go for it....

I've been needing a new laptop for a while. I watch the Best Buy 'Deals of the Day' and when this one showed up, I pounced on it for $380. I bought Dell because my previous primary laptop was a Dell and it lasted nearly 10 years. It's still operable albeit the keys on the keyboard are going bad one at a time. But IT is a well used keyboard so I cannot complain. It's earned its rest. This laptop is lightning fast with its SSD 'hard drive' and I5 processor. Display is fine although I do NOT use the touch screen function. I have to say that I dislike the keyboard. It is NOT acceptable to me. I can barely feel the little raised teats on the F and J keys. The keys are of a rough texture compared to the smooth feel of all my other laptops. Their operation seems "harsh" to me compared to four other laptops I've had. Anyone who types would likely find it objectionable. It's nowhere near as good as the previous Dell I used or an HP I'm using this second. This five year old laptop's F and J teats are still clearly discernible. On the new one ... I have to work at finding them. IF I could give this thing back over the keyboard issue, I would ... it's THAT bad. Further -- and it's not the fault of this laptop -- I'da traded the touch screen in for a lighted keyboard since I often type at night in the dark and need to find the specialty keys.. There is a difference in the special keys on this thing, too. It differs from my old Dell ... WHY ?? For the price, I guess I shouldn't complain but ... I'm just not happy with the keyboard feel OR function OR quality. So IF you type ... BEWARE. If you use two fingers and have to look at the keyboard ... it likely wouldn't matter. Dell missed it on THIS one. Now I'm stuck with it. It's tough to say that I would NOT recommend this thing to others since in all other ways -- aside from not liking W11 -- it's a good machine SO ... I'll say I will but it's RELUCTANTLY.

Easy to setup and a plus that it is touchscreen so less use of the track pad. First dell product and I am loving it. Light weight, good size and practical for school or work. Great purchase at sale price.

This laptop is great for what I need it. It processes faster. It is touch screen. It is light weight. If you are looking for a computer to do basic document writing and can be use on a projector.

This is a very fast, economical, and light weight laptop. I took it on a trip and watched movies with no issues. The download speed was superb. It keeps a charge for quite some time and the set up was super easy.

I love this laptop, it does just what it needs to. I use it for personal and for my small business. It's light enough to take anywhere and it does everything I need it to. Love the touch screen function and the speed is very fast.

This is a good laptop when it is on sale. The hinges problem is true but can be prevented by NOT carrying it by the corner of the lid and opening it at the center of the lid not the corner. I did observe S Mode locked and unable to switch out of it. THE S MODE SOLUTION: go ahead and setup the computer, sign into your Microsoft Account. Open Settings, Windows Update, Additional Options - Recovery. I did Reset This PC, keeping my files. Fix Problems Using Windows Update MIGHT work but Reset this PC definitely will. Dell Support not being able to provide a solution only proves their incompetence. Cheers!

It does everything I have asked for. I is light and the screen is great.

I am very pleased with the Dell Inspiron; it definitely outperforms the "other brand" I had previously. Battery life, loading speed, Wi-Fi connectivity all function very well. Another bonus is the Inspiron is much lighter and fits well with my carry-on things when travelling. Definitely four stars or more!

It was a great choice for me very easy to navigate with the touch screen. I store all my work assignments, blue prints, test charts and graphs. Fast speed when joining teams meeting with a great enhanced picture. Just great all around.

Laptop is great: nice size, weight and easy to use. Would recommend for someone needing a laptop for leisure browsing or light work.

I like everything about this laptop. I like the size, the speed, the numeric keypad. I does everything I need it to do at a great price. The only thing I wish it had is a backlit keyboard. Not a gamechanger, just an inconvenience.

Definitely one of the better laptops I've gotten in a while. Very good on battery life, temp stays low even when charging while being used. The touch screen has its advantages but also not very needed. Over all great features!
