I love it! The first ROG Ally was my favorite handheld. I did own every one of the most recent handhelds until my apartment caught fire. This device gives me the ability to download more games and show them to run smoother because of the increase in memory. The jump from 16gb to 22gb, plus the increase in memory speed makes this handheld a beast. Now, this isn’t just coming from a fan boy. I’ve been an IT professional for about twenty years. This gives me a small computer I can transport just about anywhere when needed. Also, if you know how to install Steam OS, you can get a similar interface to the SteamDeck.

Asus did a great job at upgrading to this model from the OG. Battery life is amazing and Hardly feel like I have to charge it between sessions. Really happy that they went with all black for the plastic being that it ages better and shows less wear.

Been playing the Ally X for couple weeks now, and i love it. Best Christmas present ive gotten myself. I havnt even touched my consoles since this device does it all. Recommend for anyone that likes to play on the go!

This Ally X is an amazing Portable PC! I traded in my steam deck to get the ROG Ally X, and honestly it’s been such an amazing upgrade. Windows seems to work just fine on the system as I usually plug it into a monitor. The OS helps me run normal apps like a laptop, and games work with anti cheat just fine. I can play most games on normal settings without giving up on quality and performance. AMD’s native software also helps in frame generation at a lower resolution so 900p looks like 1080p! The performance is unmatched for any device of this price point, so I’d definitely recommend it!

I've had this for a month now, bought it opened box and just remembered it was used writing this review. It works great, im in love with it and would highly recommend. Only con I can think of is the right joystick being in a lower position than the left. From time to time I touch the screen with my right thumb causing the game screen to move. To be fair, that can just be a personal problem.

This is amazing tech you can keep in a very large pocket, the operating system works well with the pre installed drivers, 45-60 fps on my favorite games I really like this device but the right side buttons are super loud like you'd give people sitting next to you a headache type of loud (you can fix this by using keyboard lube). Had this device for like a month so far and it still has almost no scratches, 0 on the screen. I would definitely have bought this a lot sooner if it was 500-600.

Over my life I've owned a few handhelds, but the RoG Ally X is the absolute best. It packs enough power to run just about anything you could want at 60 FPS or higher. The form factor is top notch and I've used it every day for half a year now. The only issue I've had was the joysticks beginning to drift, but they were easily replaceable! A definite must-buy for any handheld gaming enthusiast.

I love this thing it plays out in the games no leg I can stream it on Discord and show my friends who came on playing No Lag battery lasts forever

This thing is fantastic. I have owned the steam deck, Legion Go, currently have a GPD Win 4 and I have to say this thing is a mini power house. I was beyond impressed with the battery life and how comfortable it is in the hand. Performance is great and I couldn’t be happier.

This handheld has blown my mind to be honest. I went into this thinking it would be really held back and not work well for most games regardless of what I paid. I found out that not only does it play games well but it also works great as a PC. It's a very versatile product and powerful. Works well on low power and can play games for good periods of time if your conscious of power consumption. Works well on power supply and has a safety feature so you don't ruin the battery when it's plugged in a lot or for long periods of time. I love this thing....

It is a fantastic Windows handheld device. Great battery life, great ergonomics, and good performance. Amazing cooling system, much improvement form the original and still has room for improvement.

We had an Rog Ally and this thing runs so much better than the regular version. The battery life is amazin compared.

The product was good and worked as intended solid battery life and even frames were good unfortunately I had to return it due to the screen size and the actual size of the device I have bigger hands after just thirty minutes my hands were cramping

Fully customizable. If you prefer another OS you can install easily and it is made for ease of hardware customization as well. If u wish to upgrade to bigger SSD its just unplug/plug. Also looks great for it not being oled. Dnt need more than 1080p for a screen this small. I recommend getting the MECHANISM gaming pillow for it is on the HEAVY side.

Takes about 30-40min for initial setup but then you're golden to start gaming. Being a Windows based machine you will run into the occasional instance of the handheld not knowing if to use Gamepad or Desktop mode so you'll need to manually switch to it but you'll have access to a bigger library of games than if you had a Linux based OS. The battery life is amazing and can last anywhere from 3 to 8-9 hours depending on how intensive your game is. The Ally X also has multiple Operating Modes to use less power and quiet fans or use max on both depending on what your current task is. My only con would be that the Dpad recently started to squeak when pressing down.

I’ve purchased multiple pairs of the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE, and overall I think they offer really solid value for the price. They’re one of the more affordable options in Samsung’s lineup, yet they still deliver clear sound, decent bass, and a comfortable fit that works well for everyday use. That said, the buds aren’t without issues. I’ve noticed occasional connectivity hiccups — sometimes one earbud drops out briefly or takes a moment to reconnect when switching between devices. It’s not a constant problem, but it does happen often enough to be noticeable. Even with those quirks, I’d still say the Galaxy Buds FE are worth it for what you pay. They give you most of the features you’d want in wireless earbuds without breaking the bank, and I’m satisfied overall with the performance relative to the price point.

Wow what a Great gaming machine the X runs Steam and Windows 11. The battery is great too play all the games you want.

Small but can handle every game impressive handheld

I jave had every handheld hardware and i can say for a fact, this one is the best ive held. I choose the lenovo go S due to its higher Ram thought it would give an edge but after one use of the rog ally x I'm blown away, its like I'm walking around with my xbox. Just an amazing product 10/10, just take from the box and start gaming.

I bought the handheld during a blackfriday deal (2024). As of the writing of this review (Feb 2025), I have nothing but great experiences with the gaming device. The rog ally X is basically a mini windows laptop; and with that said it was very easy for me to set up the device to my liking. If youre undecided whether to buy or not maybe this review is your sign to go for it! Its a neat handheld and not as mainstream as a steam deck so you will get that "wow" factor from other people when you use it in public!!
