The Lenovo legion surpassed my expectations. The screen is the perfect size, the game play is beautiful and having the steam library available was a plus. There were so many games on sale for Black Friday and the pricing was reasonable. The device is large but it is light not very heavy. This was the first Lenovo product I have ever purchased and I am looking forward to purchasing more.

Legion Go with Z1 Extreme chip (not Z2 go) is a great device. I like the display and embedded controllers (not detachable). The only drawback is the short battery life which is about an hour for recent games like TLOU (~45 FPS) or Alone in the Dark (~50 FPS). Oh, and you'll have to buy carrying case if you need one because it doesn't come with the device.

This Lenovo legion go S with Z1 extreme chip, 32G RAM, 1TB storage and steamOS is perfect for me. Plus that 8” VRR 120hz IPS screen and hall effect sticks and buttons is so beautiful. Coming from steamdeck this felt like a huge upgrade and I got it on a sale price that is half of Legion go 2. I’m getting higher FPS and performance boost overall l.Super happy with this purchase and I’m clearing a lot of back clog games.

I =really love this device. The legion go s with the z2 go cpu and 16gb ram running windows 11 is bogged down so much. Once I found out that the legion go s had a z1 extreme 32gb ram model I was all in. Then I got to see that running steam os instead of windows and it is a match made in heavenly performance lol. Steam os has a desktop mode, it's kde Linux and archDE if I'm correct. And you can basically use any steam deck mods and install them as if the legion go s was an original steam deck. The only thing I haven't been able to get set up was the waydroid mod to have it run a version of android. I'm betting someone will get it working soon. Get the go s with the z1 extreme 32gb ram 1Tb ssd on steamOS. You will thank me for this recommendation. These pictures are my legion go s with the dbrand Killswitch full kit. This handheld is a beast and with steam os to boot. I am very satisfied with my purchase. The battery life kinda stinks but nothing a good power bank cant resolve. Would highly recommend it over the windows version.

Best handheld gaming experience ever! It can run most of the games I want to play (except anti-cheat). The Legion go Z1 with Steam OS is great! The quick resume alone is worth it. The performance and price were just right for me. Legion go + Steam OS = one happy customer. I would definitely recommend this product.

When I heard about this one coming out I wondered if it would be worth it but of course that graphics processing power and 32GB of RAM what’s NOT to love?! It has been PERFECT since the start and I have no complaints. It surpasses everything I could have imagined. RDR2 plays smoothly compared to the SD as well as numerous AAA games. I basically neglected my PC and keep playing here instead. Of course since it is Linux I can’t play some games like COD or Battlefield your typical multiplayer games but I honestly miss the campaign on those games for nostalgic. Nonetheless this device has truly been a PERFECT experience and I will have it for years to come.

Bought it for 570 with tax, open box excellent, and it has been great. The only want from me is like extra 30mins of battery life as I play in performance mode or balanced most of the time.

Most games that I play seem to run well. I primarily play single player campaigns like metal gear solid, dying light, palworld, skyrim, mass effect, baldurs gate3, days gone (slight lag on that one), and Jedi survivor. Set to performance mode. You WILL want to be near a wall outlet after about an hour and they do not, as of this moment, have 3rd party after market swappable batteries. Nor do i see any plans on the horizon for such developments. Additionally, with the SteamOS version of this console specifically at least, almost every game has required internet to function in some way. Like it has to connect to the game manufacturers servers. Frustrating if you thought you could just take this on the go while you get your oil changed or something. For the cost of this device, but being tethered to the wall, and to wifi, I would just get a gaming laptop.

Steam Deck 2.0! The added ram and horsepower added to this handheld makes it a beast to play any game on! I’ve challenged it with last of us, avatar, and many other demanding games to be delightfully surprised of how well it looks and the FPS it’s plays at. This will last quite a long time as long as you aren’t chomping at the bit to get every new pc handheld that only slightly upgrade certain components.

Great product for accessing a variety of triple-A games on Steam. The Steam operating system is extremely easy to use. The cpu/gpu, graphical quality and speed of he games are great, although some of the higher-end games struggle with texture quality at times. That said, games like Spider-Man 2 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle run great with no crashes, if you don't the little imperfections here and there. It's a little on the price side, but certainly one to book mark for when there is a sale. While the battery isn't great, I mostly use it at home anyway, so it doesn't bother me.

Thought it’d gather dust after a few weeks like my other consoles but I haven’t been able to stop playing it. Modern games run decently and everything else runs great. Only downside is battery life about 2hours.

This Legion Go S was planned to be my handheld emulation machine. But now its my go-to for everything. The Z1 extreme chip can still power modern games, and if you lower the TDP you can get 6+ hours for emulation. So comfortable to hold, too. The screen is nice and big, even though it’s not OLED, its still gorgeous.

I absolutely love this!! I found the sweet spot with the performance settings so the fans aren't attempting takeoff. I am obsessed, the graphics are so gorgeous, the performance is amazing. Theres no lag whatsoever with the games I play. The only thing i really dont like is how loud the bumpers are when you click em, its excessively.. clicky but i mean, everything else is 10/10.

If you can get it on sale, it’s a wonderful upgrade to the Steam Deck. Currently using it as my main gaming device since it’s so convenient. Combined with a Killswitch case, I feel I can take it around anywhere. Steam OS means you’re initially locked in to that ecosystem, but there are plenty of ways around that. It would make a wonderful gift for the gamer in your life. The only downsides are the battery and speakers, but there are workarounds for those as well.

Happy with my purchase. I owned a ton of handhelds this year including the legion go 2, my favorite by far was the legion go s z1 extreme with steamos though. It plays all of my games, steamos gets me right into gaming quickly. Quick resume is a must for me these days where I often pick it up to play here and there. Screen is 8” so plenty of real estate for games and small text. I highly recommend this device!

Having a lot of fun! My first handheld and so far having no issues, my only complaint is that battery could be better.

This is one of the best additions to my gaming set up, it can run Doom 2019 on high graphics at 90-100 fps, amd can run more demanding games like red dead redemption 2 on medium-low with 40-50 fps. i can also just stream rdr2 or whatever else on high graphics from my pc and play it on the legion go with little to no latency (when using ethernet)

Pretty happy with my purchase most games I own have been able to run. This little guy got kick to it and paired with SteamOS performance is greatly improved compared to other devices in the market. I just wished the trackpad was a little bigger other than that 9/10. FYI you can switch to desktop mode and use downloadable compatibility programs to run windows launchers and games.
