I love this thing. Best piece of tech i own. It can emulate anything that can be emulated and can play so many games on steam and epic + gog. This is ALOT better than a steam deck.

Very first handheld pc that I owned, first I was undecided between this legion go s z1 extreme or the steam deck oled some people say steam is still the best but can't run new and more demanding games so I have decided on buying this one also upgraded the ssd from 1tb to 4tb bought same time here at best buy samsung 990 pro both works perfectly and no complains, never been very happy with my purchase

This Legion Go S works great, and SteamOS seems to work pretty well. I haven't run into any issues with any games, and the sleep function works seamlessly. The device is heavier than a Switch 2, but it isn't cumbersome. The screen is nice, and the colors seem well-balanced. I did not find the fan noise as distracting as some people have, but it can be audible, especially on heavy games or while downloading. The battery life could be better, however it is not a dealbreaker.

This handheld is amazing. It was a great price. I was able to get it before christmas. I couldnt find it anywhere but best buy really took care of me. Thank you Best Buy for securing my christmas.

I’m loving it so far, I’ve had it for about a month no problems, it’s definitely a backlog killer I’m enjoying all the little indie games I’ve had just sitting in my library. I’ve added the killswitch case which has made better with the grips.

Best handheld under $1000! I got this whilst on sale! My only complaint is they did not make a version with these specifications with Windows, but that’s an easy fix though I do like steamOS

Very nice and more powerful than my gaming laptop even tho i have a nice desktop now, but I enjoy laying in bed after work and play the same game that I usually play on my desktop IN BED, UNDER THE AC. My wife loves it because I can stay next to her while im gaming lol Under steamOS everything is smooth, and I can also play on desktop platform, Im running battlenet on mine and plays with no issue. Very good

I’ve been putting in a lot of hours with the Lenovo Legion Go S running SteamOS, and here’s the bottom line: it’s a beast of a handheld, but it’s not perfect. I mainly played Days Gone, Warframe, World of Tanks, Asphalt Legends, and even some time-killer games like Tap Ninja. For lighter games like Asphalt and Tap Ninja, the Legion Go S barely breaks a sweat — smooth, fast, and easy on the battery. Warframe and World of Tanks both ran great, with solid frame rates and no real issues. Days Gone, being more demanding, needed some tweaking to hit a stable frame rate, but once dialed in it was very playable and looked impressive on the 8-inch 120Hz screen. The build feels solid in the hands, the screen is sharp and responsive, and the controls are comfortable enough for long sessions. SteamOS keeps things simple — most of my library worked right out of the box without the bloat you get on Windows handhelds. Now the trade-offs: the battery life is short if you’re playing anything heavy (1–2 hours max unless you lower settings), and the fan can get loud when pushing performance. The trackpad is basically useless, so don’t count on it. And yes, it’s on the heavier side — after a while you feel it. Overall, if you want a handheld that can handle AAA games like Days Gone but also crush free-to-play titles like Warframe or World of Tanks, the Legion Go S delivers. Just know you’ll need to keep a charger handy. For me, it’s worth it — I’ve sunk plenty of hours into it already, and it’s earned its spot as my go-to gaming device.

I returned the Go 2 and kept the Go S. Near identical performance. Half the price when on sale and WAY more comfortable to hold. Tried the Ally X , Go 2 and Go S Z1E is the keeper.

Love the steam os model and great way to get into pc gaming and steam for those without a pc and excellent complimentary device if you do. Go for the more powerful version if you can.

Superb! I bought this in lieu of the new Legion Go 2 and I don’t regret it whatsoever. 10/10 would recommend. My only relatively caveat is that if you want the MOST 100% POWER PREFORMANCE out of it is that you need it plugged into the wall or battery pack.

It's an amazing device. I carry it everywhere. Made playing AAA titles outside easy. I also just boot it up when I feel too lazy to play on my PC.

Amazing product...I was going to originally get a steam deck OLED or Xbox Rog Ally X but ultimately chose the Legion and i have not been disappointed. Worth EVERY penny!

Only thing that could make this better is if it had an OLED screen, but the size and refresh rate make up for it! SteamOS is GOAT! Can be used in Desktop Mode.

An amazing deal I found on Black Friday, and it has been worth every penny. This handheld is highly recommended — the screen is absolutely spectacular.

New to handheld gaming pc world. Got the steam version of the LeGo and been pretty good handheld so far. I like to lay in bed and chill with it at night before going to sleep. Main thing to watch out for is to make sure the games are compatible with the built in controller ( I purchased the prince of Persia trilogy and can only be played thru mouse and keyboard). Other than that pretty happy with it.
