Great follow-up to All Hope is Gone. This album moves away from the sludgy sound of AHIG, and moves a bit back towards the faster roots of the band, but still maintaining that sense of urgency.

Great album! If you're a fan of Slipknot I suggest picking this up. I bought the single disc The Devil in I and got a coupon for the full album and got it as soon as I could. The packaging was good, the music was good. It's all good.

The first time I listened to the album, I thought it sounded too much like Stone Sour. However, after a few more times listening to it, I found that it was definitely a mix of a classic Knot album with influence from the new members.

This album is great all the way through. While still not as heavy or as good as their self titled album or Iowa, it is still a great album. I would consider this album to be kind of a cross between Volume 3 and their earlier albums.

This is the first new Slipknot album in 4 years and it is a return to what makes them an awesome metal band. Almost every track is a winner and it really pays tribute to Paul. I recommend it if you are a fan of great music.

This is an alright album. It definitely doesn't live up to the hype that I heard before buying.

Don't bother with the bonus CD. The second CD only has 5 tracks whereas 2 are songs. Decent songs but not worth the extra for them. The other 3 tracks are garbage. The main CD is excellent. Worth the money.

A true to word mixture of Iowa and Vol. 3, Slipknot came out swinging with an album that is everything you want it to be as a fan, and everything the band needed as a tribute to late bassist Paul Gray.

another great album from Slipknot. I was worried how they would sound without Joey and Paul, but they proved that Joey wasn't the only driving force behind the 9. Great driven songs, slipknot is back!

This album is some of the bands best work. Bought this as a gift, they loved it.

I am in love with slipknot, and this album is greater than I ever expected. I really didn't know how it would be with gray and jordanson gone, but they still pulled it off. Definitely worth buying!!

These guys have stayed true to their theme of kicking @$$. After hearing this album about ten times, I can say I really like the new album a lot more than some of the other newer releases.

I love SLIPKNOT. That's all there is to it. They can do no wrong in my eyes. I had to rotate this one a few times to really appreciate it. But, love it just like the others before.

Even though this "Deluxe Edition" came with only two more songs. F .. It! I have to have it. Like it a lot and enjoyed till the end. I might be older but this guys are still strong like when I was young going crazy to their tunes with my friends back in the day.

Back to their old roots so far best cd! From the first cd till now is a big change. After the loss of 2 awesome members, still awesome as ever and showing who slipknot is.

Slipknot is one of favorite bands. I wasn't sure about this album, before getting it. But I really like the it. It has a good mix of Slipknot crushing and melodic songs.

found this to be an excellent album. although their previous have always been great, it was actually good to hear the words and the guy has an excellent voice period.
