All of my favorite James Bond movies from my mis-spent youth. All on BluRay with digital. I can take Sean Connery with me anywhere to watch my old favorites

These first three films of the 007 franchise are absolute classics. While all of the over two dozen "official" Bond movies are entertaining in their own way the first three created and then set the stage for everything to come including the highly rated Daniel Craig series reboot. Sir Sean perfectly combined the brutish, menacingly violent killer with a thin veneer of sly, dapper, tuxedo dressed sophistication to complete Fleming's secret agent. Ironically, Connery hated the 007 films type casting him even with all the fame it brought. He indeed was much more than Bond as an actor and proved it later in his distinguished Oscar winning career. These remastered Blu-rays are excellent in video presentation. I was caught by surprise at some of the medium and long shots clarity, color timing and depth. The 3 movies are all presented in the correct original 1.66:1 aspect ratio. The DTS surround sound is very good, but the original mono track is actually a little better for understanding the fast-talking British dialog. Grab this collection now. It will probably be the last physical media home video issue of these early Bond classics. I doubt we'll see a 4K UHD Blu-ray release at this point.

Now own all six Connery Bond films on Blu-ray and love them all. Must admit that I have just recently become a fan of The Bond series. I especially like how each movie has a similar format to introduce the actors and the use of the same main co-stars. Purchasing this set is worth it because of the special features.

Sean Connery is the original James Bond and he is still dapper, suave and menacing and able to foil evil intentions. With Daniel Craig, he fits the intention I believe Ian Fleming had in mind. This is Fleming's starter kit. Meet the real 00 character and enjoy the series.

Purchased each boxed set in the Bond series with the exception of the Timothy Dalton & George Lazenby sets. It's a complete shame they did not include digital copies for these 2 sets. Quality is great however, and price is right!

Quite possibly the greatest Bond and if not the coolest for sure. You can’t go wrong adding this disc to your collection.

I never saw the first two James Bond flicks. Goldfinger has always been great to watch - especially the Golden Girl, Shirley Eaton. Blueray and today's tech makes them better than before.

Adding to my collection. Connery is still the best James Bond. Really set the standard for the character. Wish they'd bring him back as a senior for one last time.

I waited a long time for these movies to be released on Blu-ray in a boxed set. The digital transfers were very good making the quality of these films even better.

I purchased all of the 007 movies on BR for my pops for fathers day. Zero regrets ever for this purchase. Sean Connery - fantastic and most favourite Bond.

These movies are all you need to have for the Sean Connery Bond experience. The best bad guys and Bond girls make this set ... desirable.

Huge James Bond (Sean Connery & Daniel Craig only) fan. To see the original 007 with Connery in sharp color is...brilliant.

Sean Connery is my favorite bond of all-time, which is why I purchased this set. This is a great value and worth the price.
