    The ease of use of this is fantastic. I don’t need to put it in the mail. I don’t need a detailed account of what happened. They either fix it or replace it.

    Protection Plan Doesn't Protect

    We're a college who purchased a TV online and was sent a TV. This TV came with a crack and when we mounted the TV and turned it on, the crack became apparent. We purchased a 2-year Geek Squad protection plan, and when we had someone come out to look at the TV, they said it wasn't repairable or replaceable. After 4 customer service representative transfers, I was told the same thing. I would like to say the last representative at least told us that we could go to the store to get a refund on the "Protection Plan." We won't buy from Best Buy again, we can't afford to not receive what we pay for. I wish them the best of luck in turning around this policy.

    I bought these to use on a road trip for my kids. We have a vehicle with second and third row seating. I didn’t know until I opened them and tried to use them in the car, that there is no battery for them, and they both have to be plugged in to be used, but the package only comes with one vehicle power adapter, that is a Y cord to plug both in together. That’s fine if I wanted them in the same row of seats, but I wanted one in the second row and one in the third row. In order to do that, I either have to have cords roped all through my van, or buy a second power adapter (it comes with a home outlet power cord, but my van doesn’t have one, so I need either a power inverter or a second vehicle power cord for my vehicle). You do have to unstrap the Velcro in order to change out the dvd, but that wasn’t too much of a hassle, we just swapped dvds when we stopped or had one of our older kids do it for the younger kids. Overall, it gets the job done.

    Our Nespresso machine started leaking after one year of use. Took it Besy Buy, told them what happened, they looked it over and said "okay, go pick out another one". I went to the counter, they scanned it and I'm done. New Nepresso machine, home. Boom

    Would never be w/o Geek Squad. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Only problem now seems to be getting answered on the phone! When we call a LOCAL store, we would LIKE to be answered AT THAT LOCAL STORE like we used to be. Get back to the phones the way they used to be please! All I can say is....TOO long on hold; Don't get a call back either.

    After 2 years of use, my DVD player that was under Geek Squad warranty broke. I was so relieved and impressed with how easy it was to return. The product was no longer on the market, so I received store credit for the initial purchase price of the DVD. Great customer service. Great protection plan benefits.

    The best customer service in the returns and exchanges area geek squad department. I came in to drop off my device to get fixed on my way out of town. And the associate took care of the return and exchange in the time it took me to go back out to my vehicle to get the other half of the device I needed to bring into the store. All I did was walk in and walk out, he took care of everything for me! I didn't catch his name that's how fast he was! thank you, thank you, thank you!

    I always but the Bestbuy protection because electronics just don't last very long these days. They renew the protection if the product breaks. While I rarely accept "protection" from other retailers, Best Buy makes it worthwhile and customer service is excellent.

    This is the best decision I've ever made. When my laptop was driving me crazy I contacted the Geek Squad. When they finished finding the problem and did updates it ran like new. Also the tech was very polite and had no problem exolaining what he was doing!!

    I almost about 90% of the time get the warranty for all my electronics and it’s worth it. No electronics last forever and if you say it does your lying. This service has saved me a lot of money over the years and will continue to keep getting it every time I buy my electronics at Best Buy!

    I bought this just in case for my headset, I was going to take my Bose to the gym and wanted a warranty just in case. unfortunately my headset is not good for running, but sound great for other things. so I have the protection just in case for at home accidents.

    My son is really hard on his portable DVD player so we bought the warranty. When we had an issue with a DVD player, we took it in and it was unable to be repaired. It was replaced immediately, no questions asked.

    I always get this on anything I get for my children. Laptops, Tablets, Car DVD players. They are so hard on electronics. I always end up using the service and it has saved me with restoring data, repairs and replacements more times than I can count. This particular purchase was a repurchase of protection on a replacement product. Save me $175.00..
