Overall a good rockin' album. Was better than Oracle.

Amazing cd!! loved it!! One of my favorite bands!!

I have been following this band since Day One! The songs are heavy, music is intense and the performance is outstanding. Godsmack never disappoints. The live albums are true to the studio versions. 1000 HP is slightly mellower, but it is true Godsmack. There are never any compromises with this band. They are hard driving and always give more than you pay for live and recorded entertainment. It is heavy metal at its best. It is not just noise pretending to be music. Godsmack moves you on different levels each time you listen to them. You do not have to be a fan to enjoy them.

If you like the kind of music that Godsmack has put out in the past, you will probably like this too. If you've never liked Godsmack than this album isn't gonna change anything. Ive listened through the album about 5 times now any really like about half of the songs: 1000hp, FML, Something Different, and Locked & Loaded are my favorites. There are very few albums where I like every single song so this is no cause for alarm. Having said that, its just nice to go out and support the bands that you really like by getting their albums. Its a great way to say thank you and allows them keep making the music that you love :)

Love Godsmack, but it feels as if they've been writing the same song for years. The songs are heavy, but the lyrics feel as if they're dumbed down for the lowest common denominator of man. Dont't get me wrong, I like to sing a good cuss word from time to time, but when it's the foundation that's where I lose a little interest. Overall, it's a fun hard rock album, crank it up and have fun with it!

This is Godsmack as usual. It's a gritty collection of songs with a bonus song on the Best Buy Exclusive edition. 1000hp is a song retrospecting their beginnings and a little reminiscing in Godsmack style. They sing of how they got to where they are today. They have always been a band to stick tot heir roots and style. Definitely for any Rock fan.

If you like hard rock that has great lyrics that you can understand, this is the album for you. This album takes you back to the Awake days. Percussion is awesome, bass line is super smooth, guitar is constant in every song, Sully's voice and lyrics are spot on. This is a must have, not just for Godsmack fans, but any fan of true hard rock.

If you're a Godsmack fan you need to pick this up! Nothing really new musically, however just good old fashioned heavy rock- so glad I purchased this at Best Buy- you get an additional song that's not available anywhere else! I've only listened to half of the album so far and haven't hit skip once- Godsmack is back in full swing here!

This newest album is another gem in the Godsmack collection. The boys kickstart it with 1000HP and end it with Life is Good (special bonus track for Best Buy purchasers)! Something different is just that and then some! The percussion/bongo tune is great too! I love these guys and have been following them from the beginning! I can't wait to see them on tour again!

Godsmack has released yet another jam packed album of hard hitting in your face rock. Tracks like what's next and locked & loaded will satisfy the hardcore fans while songs like something different are just that, more melodic and maybe even commercial than past Godsmack songs but still maintaining the bands integrity and power.

I've been a big Godsmack fan for years, and when I found out they were releasing a new CD after years since their last, I had to get it. Their music continues to get better with each new album that they release and with this one, the music tends to sound like their earlier days, which absolutely rocks!

Godsmack is back again and with a vengeance. This album still has the range that they are capable. But, it is the "in your face" tracks that take you back to where it all began. New, yet familiar styles. Vintage, yet modern Godsmack. Don't let the title track fool you, this is a great album.

I have always liked Godsmack's music but in the past the production work always seem to have the voice to loud and it overrode the instruments to much but this time they found a perfect balance which to me makes this the best cd Godsmack have ever put out. If you like heavy metal/hard rock then this is a must have cd!!!!

Really like Godsmack music, and there is good stuff on here, but overall not one of their stronger releases. Good crusty lyrics, solid musicianship, but not a real cohesive whole. I'll have to dedicate some more ear time to this for sure, and I like it quite a bit. So a definite pick up for any Godsmack fan. Rock On!

I've always loved Godsmack and this album is just another feather in their cap. It's like they channeled the feelings of their youth and brought back hard and fast. My favorite song is "FML". This will have you howling at the moon and wanting more. Another gift from the Rock Gods!

God smack has hit the ground running or should i say screaming down the road! very hard rock and roll. this album is better than the last album oracle which was great also.The band is still in top form. great to see hard rock still kickin' .can't wait to see them in concert

Wow. Once again the Boston boys bring the rock! Love the energy of each tune especially "Something Different' (which ahould be a single...hint hint). "1000hp" kicks it into high gear and its hard not to drive fast. A must have for all. Lets get them a #1 apot on Billboard.

Great top down driving music. No ballads. Classic Godsmack. And the bbuy exclusive bonus track made me laugh. What more could you ask for? Just wish I had remembered to print the FBook coupon before I went to the store. Would have cut 2$ off the already low price....

Very much In the same vein as their last couple of albums; good solid hard rock album. Has classic Godsmack sound and with a couple of new melodic styles that are unique to this album. This album overall isn't really anything we haven't heard before but that isn't really a bad thing.
