Interesting story. I really liked it. I have some good movies with Bruce Willis. The sound quality was very good and the film was very good in 4K.

Great, weird movie in a cool packaging with a very solid 4K transfer

In one of Bruce WIllis' '90s movies, he's sent from the dismal future where humanity has been ravaged by a virus, to the past, mid 1990s. Once there, he must find answers and clues to preventing its spread into the future. With the help of a woman, played by Madeline Stowe, he seeks out the Army of the 12 Monkeys. Not what I thought this movie was going to be. It's okay for the most part, but not stellar. Brad Pitt co-stars. It looks fair here on the 4K, I thought for being a 1995 movie, it would look better. Audio is English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. *This does not include a Blu-ray copy. It only contains the 4K UHD disc, nice slipcover, and a booklet inside. I am a Bruce Willis fan, so adding this to my library considering he can't do acting jobs any longer in his health condition as of Feb. 2023.

Never seen the movie so hoping for something entertaining

It’s been years since I’ve seen the blu ray but this feels like a big upgrade in terms of detail and contrast. Watching this 4K disc, I was transported back to the theater in 1995 when I first was awed by 12 Monkeys. That was not a feeling I got from the HD version. The movie is a classic time travel story, based on the short film, La Jetee. The less said about the plot, the better.

The 4K Disc: 12 Monkeys was not filmed to be a beautiful movie. The movie purposefully looks hazy, and strangely lit to add to the atmosphere. That being said, the sound and picture quality are very good. If you want a 4K disc with "immaculate" picture quality, buy The Revenant instead. The Movie: This is a film that requires your attention. But it's well worth it. I love the plot line. Also, I think this is one of Brad Pitt's best performances. This disc is worth the money!!

Probably the role that brought Brad Pitt to my attention to take him seriously as an actor. Bruce Willis is outstanding and at his drooling best in the first third. The retro sets, story line, make-up, etc. are classic Gilliam. The 4K transfer makes the movie look the best I've ever seen on home video.

Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, and Madeline Stowe are phenomenal in this movie. If you havent seen this one, be prepared to be mesmerized. My first viewing of this, I was pinned to my seat with anticipation. This was one of the sleeper thriller's of it's time. Thoroughly enjoyed this one from start to finish.

I had this on VHS so I wanted to upgrade anyways. Little did I know that the visual upgrades would make this movie so much better. The only downside is that it’s only a 4K so I have to use my PS5 to watch the film.

I have had many copies of this film and this is the best it has looked. This arrow release on par with the Studiocanal version.

Love this movie. Looks better in 4K. Same extras Ive always had with dvd and bluray. But better viewing experience on a 70" 4k system

Arrow video continues to release quality movies and this is no exception. For me, this is the definitive release of this film.
