Great protector. Lots of outlets and special outlets for computer. This outlet has protected me from surges! Great product

I own two of these - same model - EXCEPT, mine are branded Rocketfish (BB). It looks like these have been re-branded Insignia (BB). The Surge/ Master/ Slave +efficiency switch to make them ALL hot all of the time works great for me - BUT, I bought another one today at my local store and it is MISSING the coaxial inputs and outputs, as well as the dsl/telecom inputs and outputs?! There are what appear to be 'cutouts' - or indications of where the inputs and outputs USED to be on the strip, and the spec sheet in the box indicates that a cable modem/ DSL/ tele can be protected by using them, but they are not there! So this one is going back! Very weird.

This surge protector fits our needs. I really like the number of outlets and the design of this product.

I bought this after we started using similar power strips at work. It's pretty neat as the power strip will shut off most of the ports to save power. For me, I have the scanner, speakers, and monitor all plugged into the power saving ports. Then, whenever I shut off my computer or it goes into sleep mode, all my other power hungry devices completely turn off. I rather like it as it makes it easy to save money on the power bill.

I'm so glad I made this purchase. It was the last one, and it was on sale! What I love about this is that you can CHOOSE to use the power saving feature. I have two other ones from another brand that don't give me that option so I can't use them anywhere in my home because as soon as the master outlet loses power, everything shuts off! I don't have that problem with this Insignia Surge Protector!

Great Product, easy to use, I suspected a surge recently in the room and the Power strip did its job.

Pick up your current surge protector. It has a date on the back. Why date something if it doesn't expire? And look for the power level. How much of a surge does it protect against? A Florida summer storm took out my mother's surge protected TV. It was just "a surge protector.". Didn't even say how many joules it wards off. This one does. My TV, DVR, sound system, iPad and phones are hooked up through it. Finally!

This thing is awesome! It is designed very well with a ton of outlets, some spaced differently for those adapters that hog a ton of space. One of the most flexible surge protectors I have ever had

I bought this for the joule rating and the noise filtering it provides for the equipment I have hooked up to it. The surge protector is well thought out to plug in the adapters and regular power plugs into it.

I bought two Insignia surge protectors to replace my old ones which no longer protected my equipment. Six months later I will buy 2 more. My equipment is always plugged in and protectors get reduced each surge event. Recommended to replace every 6 months to be safe.

Very happy with this purchase. Especially like the longer power cord which allowed the unit to be set on a shelf rather than on the floor. Extra outlets are a bonus too.

This has been used for my computer and all my computer devices (printer, wifi, cell phones, tablets, etc) for over a year and is doing well. It's nice that it's large enough to plug everything in on one surge protector. So far so good!

The item is well designed. I like the plug seals to prevent debris from entering the receptacles. Since it's primary function is to protect from power surges I can't rate it for that as it would require a surge and knowledge that one has occurred.
