Q: Yes please tell me if this search protecter has a flat 3 prog plug in,but i see the procter ,but can't see the plug in?

A: Yes, this has a flat 3 prong plug in. Once plugged in it maybe sticks out about a half inch from the wall. Its also offset, so you can plug it into a top outlet and still use the bottom outlet as well.

Q: The higher joules number, the better protection?

A: That is correct. If you use multiple outlets, you want as high a rating as you can afford.
