I was expecting a surge protector with 4350 joule but this one came with only 4200 joule. Its still a good buy at this price but why advertise something and send something else. The model numbers are the same. So maybe bestbuy changed the surge protector without updating their website??? I bought an identical one that I received from the store for less than this price online. I might return this one.

This is a terrific surge protector for anyone who charges expensive electronic devices such as an iPhone, iPad, etc. Especially useful in a location known for its thunderstorms.

I like the design of this product, as it has several plugs that are always on, even if you turn the power button off. It provides enough outlets for all my computer needs. The power plug is long enough and sits flat to the wall. Overall , It is a good design in the product works as it should.

I needed a surge protector for some electronic equipment (television, DVR, stereo system, cable box, etc.). There are occasional surges and outages in my area. Protecting this equipment is important to me. This selection appears to meet those needs well. It is easy to use. It is a convenient size as well. I was willing to pay more to get better protection for these items..

Everybody needs power. I've got three strips like this sucking power in the corner where my TV and related gear are, and every single outlet is taken. It's like a nightmare of cables. It could probably kill someone with OCD... that said, at least there are enough outlets to plug into with this guy. The spacing is just right, the safety features are nice, and the power saving stuff is useful if you're into that, but it doesn't really work for my setup. Great choice though.

The Insignia™ - 12-Outlet Surge Protector is just what i needed. works great and helped to clean up all the clutter i had underneath my computer desk and put all my cords in one place. Love the option to be able to keep certain devices on at all times and to also control which ones you want on or off when shutting down my computer. Would highly recommend this product.

So far so good. The Monster power strip it replaced was starting to buzz after about 7 years of use. So, this one has about the same number of outlets and so far, no abnormal sounds or buzzing or anything. One negative in comparison with the Monster was that the other one (Monster) had labels for each outlet/component. But that's pretty minor.

What I like the most about this product is how many outlets it has, all my video and audio devices are protected with one single unit. This non-expensive surge protector offers 4350-joule for reliable protection. Since I live in Florida, the 4350-joule protection makes sense because of the lightning.

This twelve outlet surge protector is great for a home office desk..... and it has kept our equipment protected during some really bad storms and power outages and surges !!! I will be buying another one for my sewing area soon!

Easy to use. I love the energy saving feature. When I turn off my computer the speakers and other things I use with my computer also shut down. If you don't need that feature there's a quick on/off switch. The only thing that would make it better is if I had control over how many ports are energy saving and how many aren't.

Its a simple power strip with a smart power technology. Works as needed and has a nice long cord with an unbeatable price. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Above average surge protection unless you want to spend big bucks. 12 outlets, 6 regular and 6 eco; sufficient spacing for 4 wide plugs and 8 regular plugs at same time. Also does cable and phone. Good warranty.

I bought 2 Insignia - 12-Outlet Surge Protector for my night stand so that at night my wife and I can both charge our cell phones and other electronics we have. We are both enjoying it and love the fact that it has 12 outlet and its also has an energy saving fuction for the outlets not in use.

We needed something that would allow us to plug various electronics into it and that had at least 6' of cord because the nearest available outlet was 51/2' away from the various electronics we had. This product was better than we expected because it has a 'green feature' which lets us separate items into ones we use everyday and ones we use less often and when the 'green feature' is turned on the plugs in it are not receiving electricity. The only ones being active are the ones not in the 'green feature'. We love this feature.

The surge protector has a built in function for energy saving and able to connect 12. I had no issue so far and it works perfectly. I highly recommend the surge protector.

The best! great that it has more than 6 openings since alot of things that plug into it takes two spaces. Now I am able to plug everything I need into it.

Although chosen because of lower price for maximum capability (on sale), this is a quality product. I really love the energy saving feature!

Very good surge protector. Has enough outlets for most computer setups. Even has some plugs that go off with the computer to save energy.

Using it for our entertainment center. One button controls all devices - when the TV is off so is everything else that goes with watching TV (turns off a specific device according to where you plug it in). Having a flat plug allows furniture to fit closer to the wall and the cord is longer than on most surge protectors.

Power saving function works as expected. Has plenty of outlets for all my pc and non pc plugs
