Great military action scenes, plenty of machine guns, bombs, and rocket launchers to blow your shorts right off of you. Like action this is a movie for you

Chris Hemsworth does an excellent job in this movie as well as the rest of the cast. Great movie that goes into the first troops to fight after the 9/11 attacks.

The story is really good. I believe its based on true events. If not,it seems plausible. The action is awesome.Chris Hemsworth rocks this one.

A great movie and instant modern day classic of a true story. Obviously a Hollywood depiction and not a documentary, but a great tale of the times.

If you want a good military film this is the way to go. You can never go wrong when hemsworth is in them, he always puts his heart into every film!

Little different seeing Chris Hemsworth who plays Thor in the lead of this movie. Very action packed and Great War scenes as well.

This is soooo full of action!!! The other reason I had to own it was because a few house scenes were filmed on my street.

Some of the Afgan/American politics were well played out. The two entirely separate worlds trying to achieve a "common goal" was fascinating. Kind of explains where we are there now.

I loved the movie, I just took issue with the acting. Not even close to real service members. Did they even study the military?

Docu-drama of actual events in the early days of the Middle East conflicts. Very well researched and conveyed to the screen.

I didn't buy this for the BLUE-RAY. I don't own a Blue-Ray Player! Best Buy was out of stock of the regular DVD-only copy, but I bought this one because it has a separate +DVD disc, too! (And a free digital download copy, too.) Now, on to the review of the movie, "12 STRONG!" Although the opening 1/2-hour is a boring, standard plot / explanation of how these soldiers got sent over to Afghanistan, it is a very necessary 1/2 hour. It's like other films in this genre: e.g., 1. "We Were Soldiers," (Mel Gibson); e.g., 2. "Hacksaw Ridge" (2016), (Andrew Garfield); e.g., 3. "Fury," (Brad Pitt); and e.g., 4. "Saving Private Ryan" (directed by Steven Spielberg) -- the "initial 1/2-hour+" development of the story is very necessary,... BUT, these earlier films first 1/2-hours were done much more EXPERTLY and engagingly! -- By better Oscar-winning Directors! TWELVE (12) STRONG's director, Nicolai Fuglsig, does start doing a pretty good job once these 12 "Horse-Soldiers" are in Afghanistan. And, the GREATEST pleasure is watching the actors do their craft! I'm talking especially about Chris Hemsworth, Michael Shannon and Michael Pena! That's why I bought this movie having seen it in theaters twice. They perform the very attention-holding action scenes with aplomb, humor, and believability. If you're a fan of these three actors -- they are excellent at these roles! It's AWESOME watching these modern-day American "HORSE-SOLDIERS" deal with modern-day Afghanistan warfare. This ain't no "Wild-West Calvary Horse-Riding" soldiers' film about fighting Indians to"tame" the Western United States!!

I love Chris Hemsworth and when this once came out I picked it up and I'm glad I did. It is a really good movie.

OH MY GOD!! I WAS DYING HARD TO SEE THIS MOVIE!! THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE I HAVE WATCHED AFTER A VERY LOOONG TIME!!

This untold story is amazing. I wonder what it was like to be in that situation and puts you in that situation.

It said true story. Haven’t yet seen but will watch the movie soon. I believe it will be good movie. Love true story.

I like war movies and when they are true it's even better. I really enjoyed this in the theater and at home. I do watch this from time to time it keeps you interested

It's a great movie but has very very foul language not a movie to watch with your kids. They could take out some of the foul language and it would be a great family movie
