Great movie to watch as it is based on a true story

This movie kept you watching. It is a great movie.

Movie was good. War movies are my favorite genre, so was very entertained with this movie.

I was completely unaware of this U.S. military special operation that transpired almost immediately after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. This movie in my opinion was an outstanding portrayal of the U.S. military paired up along with some of Afghanistan's local national militias. The events in this movie we're supposedly classified for several years which is why this movie had just recently been released. As for the film 12-Strong itself I thought it was well done, full of action and in general an all around fascinating story brought to life on the big screen. My only complaint is that there for some odd reason no 4K-HDR BluRay version. But that is all I have regarding any cons for this movie. It's in my opinion worth owning....

Shows the first look at the declassified 12 men that entered the Middle East after 9/11

Great story that, for reasons completely beyond me, has been entirely ignored. It deals with the initial response to the post 9/11 war on terror and the accompanying insertion into Afghanistan directly. It shows exactly what US forces were up against, not only in terms of logistics but also dealing with locals and trying to create a unified front not only for the US but for the long suffering people in the countryside. Very well cast with Chris Hemsworth in the lead role. Great, fast paced battle sequences that carry on and expand further the standards initiated by Saving Private Ryan.
