I bought this as an alternate app to another Blu-Ray/DVD ripper I had purchased online. NOTE: I've only scratched the surface of some of this program's features. NOTE: The product should say ALMOST ANY MOVIE on the box. As it says it right now, it implies that you can rip/backup any blu-ray or dvd on the market, even new ones. Be aware that ANY MOVIE is NOT the case. (Sorry for the all-caps on some words, but there are no boldfaces or underlines or italics functions in this review system :) ) Pros: The movies it can rip, it does a little bit faster than the app I purchased online. There are many formats it can rip/convert to. Great picture and audio quality. It has several video conversion functions for video files as well. Also, it can rip audio from video files and make them into MP3's and ringtones for your phone. Cons: Sometimes the interface is a bit tricky to figure out. No help function. Also, if you want to update or rip any movies that have trickier copy encryption on them, you have to download some pretty dubious looking add-ons...some you subscribe to, some you can get for free with serious limitations. At that point, it makes this product almost useless to purchase. I have not been able to get the caption function to work either. The makers of this app need to do their own decryption updates, instead of outsourcing to dubious add-ons by other developers. Other than that, this is a decent way to backup your blu-ray/dvd collection. Not great, but decent.

Pro: * Good conversion list * DVD/Blu ray rip quality is easy and good quality Neutral: * Overall easy to use but the interface can be confusing. There is no search so you can spend sometime to find what you are looking for. Not a deal stopper. Cons: * Slow, compare to my old Wondershare converter it's about 30% slower * No help. The online help send you to a broken link * No way to extract captions. So if you are trying to rip your library to put it on your media server, you cannot count on the captions option. Only workaround is to rip with subtitles hard coded into the image itself. * More expensive than other converter offering better features

I needed software to burn mp4 videos to DVD. This program is simple to use. The price I paid for my purpose includes a package with so much more. Almost any copying, burning, ripping need can be done with this package. I gave it 4 stars because I couldn't find guidelines about how to burn to DVD. Once I figured it out, I realized how simple it is, but some "how to" help would have been nice. Hopefully it will be added soon. I did contact tech help, and they responded fairly quickly, and kept up email communication until my questions were resolved.

We bought this product to backup all our 2 year old dvd's since she was scratching the original copies. It's easy to use, you can either make an exact dvd copy or one that skips all the Comercial's & just starts at the beginning of the movie. The only reason I give it a 4 star is because it takes about 1 hour or more to make a copy. It seems too slow but so far no errors.

Tried to copy my children's movies but had to jump through hoops to override copy protection. Downloaded recommended free app. It took so long for the process of copying I gave up (ticker said 7 hours remaining). I'll have to try again when I have some more time...and patience.

I have used Copy 1-2-3 for MANY years and by far this is the best ripping software out there. very easy to use and you can make back-up copies of your DVD / Blu-ray library.. As well as being able to take a reg DVD or Blu-Ray and make it to go on your smartphone.

I've converted several of my DVDs for use on a tablet and the software seems to do a good job with that. Had a rocky start when I started using the software and contacted tech support via email. A tech contacted me and followed up several times to ensure my problem was solved, even though I discovered it was a hardware problem and nothing to do with the software. I appreciate that professionalism.

At first there was a problem with the update and i could not use all of the features. After talking with tech support they were able to get me all set up. Now it works great. It has a lot of options.

Software is good but have to uninstall and reinstall when downloading home DIY videos from YouTube.

Very easy product to use. Was able to back up about 50 DVDs in a week. Insert the DVD select the type of back file and your done. I wish that it would transfer a little faster. Takes about 45 minutes for a standard DVD.

you need to download if you are ripping commercial dvds but since doing that I haven't had any problems

Easily copy or convert your DVD's and Blu-Rays in order to view on your iPhone or iPad. Did not give product 5 stars because if you want to download an HD video from the Internet you have to pay extra. This is the platinum edition. Would think would not have to pay extra.

After a lot of research and free trials with other programs, this is the one I finally bought. It's extremely easy to use and quite fast in comparison to others I've tried. You just need to make sure you've got plenty of memory on your computer for uploading or be more tech savvy than I am when it comes to cleaning up your computer to create more space.

Product works well for the most part, but requires additional programs from the Internet to work with newer encrypted Blu-ray disks. The packaging implies that it will work. Not the case. I almost took it back, but pretty happy after getting a package from the Internet that makes this all work. Still, I kind of feel that the product is misleading, so watch out for that. It should have *everything* you need without getting additional packages to do what you expect it to do. Don't use this product to pirate creative works! But, if you buy a DVD/Blu-ray, you should have the rights to view what you purchased on mobile equipment, etc.

This is a very good software program that will convert your DVDs into MP$s for viewing on phones and nooks.

Much better than previous versions. I was able to show my wife how to use it once, and it stuck.

Works for the most part. Blu-ray capabilities are there, however could be a lot more efficient.

I wasn't sure if I would be able to do this, but it was actually pretty easy. Hooked VCR up to computer & when playing VHS tape, you could see right on computer. The VHS tapes i trief to work on were over 25 years old so the picture didn't appear that clear & had normal wear & tear,, but it recorded pretty well on a DVD. Only problem seemed to be the file name of the recording - would play on a new DVD or BLU-RAY player, but 'disk not readable' on older DVD players. Almost wish it would record the VHS recording directly to the computer, & then from there burn on to DVD - maybe with a choice of what format to use to burn to the DVD - so it could be playable on both old & new VHS machines. Otherwise i would have given it 5 stars. But we didn't have to try to find a professional to do this work - I could do tape at a time in my spare time, & edit out mistakes or cuts between scenes.

This is second time I bought this program. Works well and is easy to use.
