I enjoyed this and was action packed. The PQ was superb. I do feel at times it was a little over the top and “Hollywood-ized “. A little “gung ho”. Still was a great movie with gorgeous visuals.

I know, the phrase "pulse pounding" is greatly over used these days, but believe me when I say this movie is a freakin nasty pulse pounding action machine!!!!!!!! If you are like me, and the mere idea of special forces guys running an operation makes you giddy, then this is a must see. It has legit action, nail biting suspense, and dash of feel good all rolled into one awesome movie that I would put on the same level as Black Hawk Down!!!!

I have always like Michael Bays' films on war and his take on smaller war events in history, and this one take it to new heights in terms of action and what was perceived and all the political BS that supposedly took place. The action is brilliant and the camera angles are perfect, especially those drone shots (observing this on Amazon Prime 4K and the actual 4K BD in Dolby Vision makes a huge difference). The Dolby Atmos Surround Sound resonates with the explosions and firepower throughout the film itself. Just wish they released it with a BD for legacy players and content, but streaming is just as fine.

Another excellent cast & awesome film from Michael Bay. The man has repeatedly proven he knows how to do big budget action films.

Great movie. Lots of action. Tells an untold story the media doesn’t want you to know

This is my favorite movie of the year. Intense action, incredible bravery, putting their lives on the line to save 35 other lives, unselfishness, strong characters who readily sacrificed their personal safety for each other. There so much good in this movie that it's difficult to sum it up. The most important thing to remember is that it's all true, and it doesn't lapse into a political diatribe. Just pay attention to the scenes of the drones recording all of the action overhead while defense leadership watches in Washington and does nothing to help save them and American military forces getting ready in Croatia and Sicily, but their orders to head for Bengazi never come. In fact, this entire story was corroborated by the report of the House Select Committee. The first time I saw the movie I left the theater angry and ashamed that the most powerful military in the world never made any effort to save these people. Ever wonder how the 2012 election would have gone had all of these defenders had died along with the 35 people they were fighting to protect? Michael Bay did the story the right way - he captured the raw power of this true story without lapsing into moralizing. It's all there, you watch it like a witness to a crime and you are allowed to come to your own conclusions. The acting was very strong and realistic. And the last few scenes really are disturbing - the Libyan force that arrives to save them came at the request, not of the American Government or because they had a contract with the CIA, but of one of the CIA operatives who happened to know the leader. And, when the rescued Americans finally make it to the Bengazi airport, no American plane comes to take them out. That is left to the Libyans. Astonishing!

If you want amazing surround sound and intense action that follows true events of Elite US Combat teams fighting terrorism overseas while being fully immersed into the action as if you were there, then this is a must have for you

This is an outstanding movie that should help us all remember the sacrifices the our men and woman make in order to serve and protect our country. Some making the ultimate sacrifice!!

This is a great movie. The story moves fast and has some of the best video and audio of any UHD movie I've seen to date. The ATMOS presentation is excellent and reference quality!!!

I hardly ever go to the movie theaters anymore but I went and saw this the first week it came out. Highly effective military themed war movie which depicted the events that occurred in Libya when radical islamist forces stormed an American Embassy compound and killed one of our ambassadors. The action is tense and realistically depicted and the pacing of the movie kept me on the edge of my seat for the duration. I highly recommend everyone who's interested in events in the Middle East to give this movie a chance so they can learn more about how our diplomatic Personnel were left undefended and vulnerable to threats which were known at the time.

well written, well acted, very good movie. While highlighting a major polical issue, the movie stuck to the characters and events not a political statement. Great movie

Intense action filled movie reflecting on a true historical wartime period of American history! Gripping and must see movie depicting true American heroes that risked their lives to help others while protecting our country! Thank you to all service men and women who have willingly enlisted in our armed services to protect our country and citizens!

Excellent movie and story told boldly.Everyone should watch this film as a history lesson.I will not go into the politics involved in why this scenario happened to these people.But it should serve as a cautionary history lesson.Where to go, what to do and when to act.These soldiers and civilians acted and responded heroically as the political machine hung them out to dry.This should have never happened.If our government had any good sense of morales and cared about human beings in general, this would never of happened.Or would ever happen again.The actors are stellar in their portrayals and performances.The fight sciences and buildup throughout the film is gripping and heartbreaking.Camera work is excellent.The night time shots are incredible!Hats off to everyone involved in producing a film that holds up after multiple views throughout the years.I still feel like I am watching this story for the first time each and every time I view it.I highly recommend you purchase a copy of this movie and let friend and family view it.Everyone should know what took place in Benghazi.Incredible and sad all at once.

can you imagine our secretary of state at the time got away with her lame job performance! She should be in jail! This movie is great, has amazing FUNNY lines, fast action, really sets a nice pace. The sound is great, can't say enough good things about the sound, it has what you expect for the money you spend on a disk of this magnitude, the money they spent was well placed. You get high quality content. The CGI is so realistic you forget its CGI and just fall into the story and lose yourself in the emotion and staging of the drama and action.

This movie escalates until you think that there is no way out and it is amazing! If you like action, you’ll definitely end up loving this movie.

4K remaster is a huge upgrade from regular blu ray. Audio and picture is top quality. Reminds me of Black Hawk Down 4K but not as grainy.

13 hours 4K is Awesome!!! The Dolby Vision picture and DOLBY ATMOS SOUND is REFERENCE! This is a MUST buy in my opinion.

This is one of my favorite movies recently. I find myself watching it frequently. And I am not a huge Michael Bay fan, although Chuck Hogan was associated with this so that is probably why it turned out so well. I've been championing this to be released in 4K & I was well rewarded. The image is sharp and the colors are very vivid. If you haven't watched this film at all, or are contemplating getting in in 4K, do yourself and favor and go for it.

The writers tried very hard to not condemn the Obama administration in this film, but instead focused on the actual action on the ground in Benghazi. If they had wanted to, they could have tried the administration in the film. Good cinematography, good writing, good character development. Very good, historically accurate, and entertaining.
