I had a Dell computer which I had for 3 days and had a problem with it and dell support wanted $200 t0 fix it, so I took it back. I saw this laptop at Best Buy, The price seemed just what I wanted to pay, so I purchased it and am glad I did. It has the touch screen and that is what I was really looking for. The battery doesn't last to long but that doesn't bother me because I use it at home and can keep it pluged in and charging. It is not super fast but I am happy with it and would recommend it to friends

I bought this for my dad who needed a computer with a good amount of storage and reliability with a good price. It also had to have decent processing power and SPEED. This computer filled that requirement with some great BONUS features like the touchscreen and dvd drive!! It runs great! The 8gb allows for the user to leave multiple programs running without affecting performance He loves it

Laptop came with slowness, but after I uninstalled McAfee and installed Avast, also after it took a long time to complete all the windows updates, the laptop is very fast. Touch screen works great. No complaints whatsoever as of now. I bought two of these as they were a steal.

For the price you are getting touch screen and the ability to go up to 16GB of memory in the future.

Had this for about a month now, works well with no major problems. Speed is adequate for typical use (internet, videos, etc., not really a gamer so I can't say much about that). Lots of space for music and pictures and other files. It's a lightweight, functional laptop that should work for most people.

I've owned this laptop for a month. I like this laptop overall, especially the touchscreen feature, and it has a cd player, but it's definitely slower than I had hoped. Would I recommend this laptop?...maybe. It depends on what you're wanting to do with it. If you're just surfing the web, downloading podcasts, watching youtube vidoes, various things like that, then yes I would recommend it. I haven't attempted to play any games on it but I really doubt it could handle it. Good size hard drive and good amount of memory but again, slower than expected.

Bought it for my mother to upgrade her 8 year old lenovo laptop which was also about 400 at the time. What are the upgraded parts?: - processor is about 4x faster - about 2.5x the ram - about 10x the hard drive space - touch screen - battery does not die within an hour The not really upgraded parts: - webcam seems to be the same resolution (480p?) although it looks worse because skype for example uses it in wide screen which cuts the resolution to probably 360p - screen viewing angle is atrocious, but if you are glass-half-full kind of gal then think of it as being able to adjust brightness from 0 to 100 by moving the screen up and down a tiny bit - hard drive speed: prepare to be annoyed if you have any experience with ssd After using high-end laptops for a while now the negatives seem more serious to me than they probably are. A good bang for the buck, although I do wonder what that lenovo with similar specs is like.

Purchased this computer for a college student because it had speed, storage and a DVD drive and was lightweight enough to take to class. It’s been great!

Not the brightest star in the galaxy when it comes to high tech electronics especially computers. Mainly I will be using this laptop for browsing and emails. So far this laptop has performed well and was very surprised at the speed. Saved 100.00 on this laptop on sale Memorial Day weekend. Great price! Great Computer!

Good, solid laptop but nothing special. Touchscreen is a nice feature, but I don't know if it was really worth paying extra for. This laptop does not have a backlit keyboard, and I'm now kind of regretting not plonking down some extra money for another one that has that feature. The plastic build of the case feels super-cheap, and it attracts fingerprints like crazy, but the laptop overall is well-built and nicely designed. The keyboard feels nice to type on, and the touchpad is quite responsive. A good laptop overall, but there's no way I would have paid the original price for it. Get it on sale!

This laptop was a steal for what I needed. Don’t do much gaming, just wanted something for music, movies, and some basic data entry. Wanted the touchscreen but couldn’t justify the prices until I can across this deal. Great for the average user and much faster then old HP (which got me through college fine).

As much as I like to use my tablet, there are just times a laptop is better. Always had an HP and decided to purchase another, wanted to spend less than $500. This one on sale was less than $400!! Touch screen, plenty of memory, very satisfied.

I use this laptop for school and for work. It is lightweight yet durable. It is a reasonable price compared to other laptops with the same features sold at other stores. I love the touchscreen and the amount of space on the hard drive and the amount of memory. I would purchase this product again.
