Sadly, The Volume Continues To Go Out . . .

I upgraded my Windows Vista Business, which I loved, due to Microsoft Security Essentials discontinuing its coverage of that operating system on April 11, 2017. Because I had so much on my old system and used less than half of its GB, I knew I had to go with a Windows 10 operating system to be covered adequately. I chose this one at the behest of the sales person. He explained many things to me and for some reason he did not mention Windows Defender would be periodically scanning this purchase along with real-time protection being handled temporarily by McAfee. The problem I have is not with the security as I have a "Never Expires" Malwarebytes Premium account I purchased six or seven years ago that transferred seamlessly. The ailments I keep having is the volume continues to just stop. The Geek Squad wanted to charge me $100.00 for a diagnostic check; nevertheless, my company's Information Technology (IT) person told me they are a waste of money and unfortunately, after buying six computers from Best Buy previously and getting its maximum software and hardware coverage, it was a waste of money when I did have problems. All they would do is reinstall windows . . . something my IT person could do for FREE among many, many other things. Just like wanting me to purchase Microsoft 360 yearly when I received more coverage of Microsoft Office 2016 for only $9.95 + tax due to my employer for as long as the computer will last. I do not like the Microsoft Edge (it came with the computer as its Internet Explorer replacement, I suppose) and proclaimed it was faster than Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. This was not accurate, so I uploaded them individually and that seems to be a tad better. For me, Windows 10 is not as friendly as what I had previously. Plus, Defender took almost nine-hours to run a full scan and McAfee took ten. What in the world? Security Essentials took significantly less time, so I do not know what I need to do. Plus, I need to figure out how to get rid of a lot of things that came factory ready that I do not like or will never use. I wish I could give it more stars, but at this juncture, I would be lying, although I would recommend it as long as a person does not download too much that puts a toll on running full scans.

We needed a computer to keep in the kitchen for quick little jobs. This does the trick but a bit noisier than I expected. The fan always seems to be running and gets kinda loud after a bit.

I purchased this HP all in one computer to replace my old (16 years old) Compaq computer. At first I was "lost" because it did not come with instructions or a manual, but once I got the hang of it, I started to explore more. However, I don't like the key board or mouse. I will be replacing them with better ones. It gives me a lot of space on my desk. Also I would like to have all my icons on the home page, but I have not been able to figure that out as yet. I still think that my old faithful computer was more practical in many ways. Over all it is a good computer to check email and browse the internet. I have not tried the camera or the microphone.

I bought this for my 89 year old mother, and so far so good. It was very easy to set up. Although, occasionally the monitor gets blinky, but other than that, a very nice sstem.

I didn't have to go shopping; my wife bought me a new computer for my Christmas present. Got it set up relatively easy (I'm not too computer-savvy) with help from my wife and son.

This is my second HP all in one and I love it. I love the extra space it gives. The only thing I was disappointed with was the fact that there are not enough places for everything to be hooked up, i.e. mouse, keyboard, printer, flash drive, etc.
