Oh, it does look slim and amazing on the store shelf catwalk, right?! Yes, the i7 processor and 16G ram are creamy enticing!! ...But, what promises on the runway to be an exciting and powerful-but-sleek model turns out to be an unresponsive disappointment when you finally get it home. Take my story: After three frustrating weeks, trying to figure out why I couldnt multitask with the Asus very well and finally deciding its awkward slow-to-respond lethargy was too much of a turn-off I took the Asus back and exchanged it for a twin model. ...And, the same fustrating letdown! Well, I found out why, eventually. There is only one power option available: "Balanced" (usually yout get three: balanced, saver and high performance). Aka this computer is designed to be yoga slow despite the wild high-speed ride you expect from its specs. You're only ever going to get to utilize a small fraction of the potential power end enjoyment this computer would otherwise be capable of under the "HIGH PERFORMANCE SETTING" [which you can choose on any other computer, incidentally]. I checked other floor models at 2 Best buys and found they all had the same unchangeable defect. So seems like the issue will be in any of this model type. I called Asus customer support and they were totally unhelpful with a "Too bad, tough luck sucker" attitude. So, dont be a sucker like I was and save yorself the performance disappointment: Opt for the greater enjoyment you'll get from any other brands' i7/16G until Asus addresses this. [You'll know when you check the advanced power options and see "high performance" on the list.] Or, just buy a way cheaper i5/8G computer that will probably give you the same or better performance as this one.

I purchased both XPS and this one on the same day and XPS was much more elegant.

Had to return this "certified" open box item that was supposed to be in excellent condition. It made a load ticking noise when it was setting idle or in use. Exchanged it for a new one and this is much better. The old one was obviously not factory reset as the software and setup was different between the two.

Face recognition is a plus. The touch is very smooth. 2 in 1 makes it easier to move along with it while in use.

In my opinion this laptop is a little over priced compared to others. I had to get it because my kid wouldn't listen to reason. It malfunctioned within the first 3 months, thankfully my daughter had a friend that was able to fix it otherwise she would have had to find a best buy in Mass. If this machine was $200 less, I would say it was a great value.

I purchased this laptop for my kid that is going to school for engineering. it met all the requirements for the program. so far my kid loves it. no issues to report.

Bought this laptop to use for travel. Wife can search campground near by while driving, get weather updates etc., as well as blogging and photo storage on the road.

The laptop is fast. Battery is so so, it displays time remaining not accurate and confused.

I bought this computer for my freshman in college. I love what it's done for me so far and I've only had classes for 3 days!
