Awesome speed, reliability
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best computer I ever owned. Lightest, fastest, most durable. Great sound. I use it on the road and in tablet mode, set up as monitor with attached key pad.

Great, lightweight, and fast!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this computer for my wife as a replacement for her broken, tired old laptop. Her old one was heavy, cumbersome, and unreliable. This Asus is very lightweight, the battery life is exceptional, and it boots up in no time with its solid state hard drive. Needless to say, my wife is quite happy with its performance, weight, and convenience. Definitely a keeper!

Pretty good device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very high specs for the best price you can buy, the lightest computer I have ever used, touch screen is nice, still getting used to win10 after using mac for so many years. Everything seems to work well, but it can get really hot when the cpu usage is high.

Love this computer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a nursing student who works full-time, so this laptop travels with me everywhere. I love that this machine is fast, has decent battery life, and most of all VERY light weight! This laptop has exceeded my expectations. I was considering the HP Spectre, but (for what I need it for) this laptop is just as good, plus was a few hundred dollars cheaper.

Ultra Thin, Ultra Fast!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an IT professional. I was looking for an ultra thin, light weight, fast ultrabook laptop with high specs but reasonable cost(I'm on a major budget). I prefer the 13.3" size for portability and ease. I found my match with the Asus 2-in-1!! I love this laptop. I had owned a Dell XPS for 5 years. It was low specs at 4GB ram and 128ssd hd. I am excited to now upgrade to a 512ssd with 16GB ram laptop. It is super fast to boot and performs the tasks I need with better speed. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the mini dock adapter which came with it was DOA. I called Asus and they wanted to charge me $40 to fix, claiming it was a software fix. I have my doubts, but will test it on another laptop to be sure. I give the laptop itself 5 stars.

Almost there ....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this a few days back after poring over a wide net of laptops to choose from. To give an idea, I got the HP Spectre 13.3" X360 4K ($1300+) and returned it after a few days since I was having issues with the trackpad. (I updated the OS, drivers, played around with the touchpad settings, disabled it & used BT mouse - which froze the screen!!!), etc. The DELL XPS was a non starter due the placement of the camera AND the processor. And the Inspiron was 'heavy'. And the Lenovo is still in play. Later on this. Not to digress any further .. I stumbled on this baby during my search & loved the keyboard, the weight, screen etc. But .... a) My biggest pet peeve is the inability to toggle the function keys. For me personally, it does not make any sense to hit two keys for volume control or brightness, etc. (Somebody mentioned here about changing it in the BIOS; but I have not figured it out. Any guidance will be appreciated.) b) The location of fingerprint scanner. True, I can register more fingers, but its just another small peeve. c) No idea why ASUS had to secure the SSD drives by Bitlocker encryption. Additional steps required to disable them & partition the SSD. Another peeve. d) The trackpad took some time to learn. e) Fresh off the box install / upgrade took about an hour. f) Watching Youtube videos on 1 screen, MS-Office (Outlook, Word & XL) and several browser tabs kicks up the fan. Remove the Youtube app or any video streaming (ABC, CNN, etc.) then its all quiet. g) It does get warm; but not enough to burn. h) Lack of ports. The right USB Type C is for data & video. The left does the whole thing. The included adapter works well; but you are SOL if you want to connect one of the many USB sticks natively. You'll need an adapter. The biggest ++++ are: - I paid $900/- for this guy. I think its a good price for a i7 7th gen/16GB DDR3/512GB 2 in 1. - This unit was the lightest among the ones I saw & played around. - The keyboard ergonomics was A+ for me personally. I disliked the HP & the DELL immensely. I have this unit connected to a DELL port replicator D3100 & am able to connect 2 monitors. My 27" 4K is connected via the DP & the 24" Insignia LED is via HDMI. No issues. Plug & play is great. After about 3 days, I'm not 100% convinced. The Lenovo Yoga 920 is calling my name. It is about $400/- more; but has all the bells & whistles (4K, latest gen i7; DDR4, dual fans & SSD is the faster variety). And its a 14 inch screen, which will be useful. Oh & the design is far better compared the ASUS which is staple. But ... the inability to toggle the Fn keys & the fingerprint scanner, might make me return this. We'll see.
