I bought this for college and it couldn’t be better for what I need. It has the newest fastest i7 processor and will run any program I throw at it. The only con I have noticed to this computer is that if you are running a very intense game it tends to get hot but overall it’s a great computer.

The laptop is sleek and portable. Very light and practical. This laptop said 10 hours of battery life. I was excited because that's just what I needed. I spend an entire week installing my software and personalizing. The battery is a complete fail and I could never get more than 2 hours out of it. This laptop ended wasting my time and now has become a big inconvenience regarding my software subscriptions. I did return and finally get refund. I want my 2 weeks back.

Great machine but it gets hot while charging...the battery life isn't that great but its good...very lightweight!

First of all, I am still amazed at how small and light this thing is! It is zippy for office work, and seems very well built. Really, the only thing that I consider to be "bad" about this is the complete absence of legacy USB ports. It only has USB type "C" connectors, one on each side. It does come with a port replicator that turns the left USB-C port into: power in (USB-C), USB 3.0, and HDMI. Using an small box to add these ports seems clumsy, but I guess that there is not a lot of room for more ports. The screen is great (1920x1080), no 4K. However, with a screen this size, 4K would require a microscope to see it. Keep in mind that this is NOT a workstation, despite having an i7 processor. This thing is THIN, so not a lot of room to dissipate heat. There is a fan and exhaust vent on board, but when running hard, this little thing gets toasty. This is all part of having a laptop that is about 1 cm thick -- it has horsepower for quick bursts, but it not meant to do hard processing all day long without burning a hole in your pants.

Lightweight, quick, and a good-sized screen (especially for the weight). The only problem I have is that the fan can be loud at times.

One of the best packed computers you can buy for the price. Got it for $999.99 during the weekly sale plus the student discount. Runs slightly hot.

It is good the only downside it is that it gets really loud when you are multitasking and it also gets hot

I really like Asus laptops. Brought this one because of windows ink and a newer model. Hope it is as good as other laptops I have purchased from ASUS.

This is a great light and fast laptop. Add a number pad and get five stars.

Very small and lightweight, yet very responsive, especially for the price. I do software development on it once in awhile and sometimes find that when I do intensive operations which make the CPU spike for a bit, the bottom left side where the fan and processor are can get a little warm if sitting on your lap. But when using for everyday things this isn't an issue. Apart from that the battery life is great. Watched movies on it nonstop while flying from Jacksonville to San Francisco and the battery only dropped about 17%.

Don't buy it if you can not bear that noisy fan. I opened the box, set up stuff, surfed some websites and the fan started getting noisy already. didn't even open a heavy task. otherwise, it is a beautiful laptop, super portable, extremely thin and light. also has window hello that let you unlock the device with your fingerprint, which is pretty modern.

Did not go in looking for this specific laptop. After looking at a significant number or units, I walked out with this unit. I am glad I did as it is a great device with all the features that I wanted.

Purchased this laptop for school and could not be more pleased. Laptop is lighting quick and screen is fantastic.

I’m about to enjoy using it, but tends to overheat

Love this laptop. For a similar equipped laptop, I don’t think you can do any better. Size is perfect and ultra mobile while having enough horse power to run many programs smoothly.

I bought the laptop mainly for traveling and to use as a backup for my home desktop if it was down for some reason. It is very slim and easy to carry around. The feel of it is nice. One of the consequences of how thin this laptop is that you only get two USB-C ports, nothing else. One for data and/or power and the other for just data. This brings me to my biggest issue with the laptop: the lack of ports means you have to buy an additional USB hub to give you any ports. It comes with one, but I couldn't get the HDMI out to work with the included hub. I had to buy another one before I could get that to work. The power "brick" for this laptop is tiny. It is probably only a power "pebble". That is very nice. Its always annoying with you get a relatively portable device then the power cord is as big as the device itself. Definitely not the case here. The 16 Gigs of RAM and 512 GB SSD are very nice. I would recommend this laptop as long as you don't need to attach a lot of things to to. The slimness is nice looking and makes it easy to carry around.

I spent forever shopping for a new laptop and as soon as I purchased this I knew that I finally found the laptop. I really enjoy using it, and like that it's not big and bulky.
