    A must for electronics with kids!

    Purchased tablets for our grandsons for Christmas. Fortunately purchased the repair / replacement policy. The 8, 9, and 10 year old boys take very good care of the tablet. The 6 year old needs to learn it is not a plastic toy that can just be left laying around where someone can step on it! Yep - busted screen within 1 week! Went to Bestbuy hoping for a repair, but walked out within 15 minutes with a new tablet! I'm happy, but not near as much as my grandson who has learned a valuable lesson!

    I have not had to use this particular geek squad protection, but I have used them in the past. I love the peace of mind that if something happens to my products, then all I have to do is take it in to Best Buy and they handle it from there. I don't have to find a box and pack it up and pay for shipping and then sit back and wait and wait. They have always been friendly and fixed my products time and time again. I don't purchase anything from Best Buy without purchasing a warranty

    I used to swear that I would never purchase a protection plan for an item and I have to say that Best Buy protection plans are AMAZING! Recently purchased a protection plan for my Insignia Tablet and the battery on the tablet started to die relatively quickly and I took the tablet in for fixing and they handed my a refund for my item and the protection plan so that I could purchase the item again as well as put the protection plan back on! I'm now a fan of protection plans.

    I purchased this replacement warranty with a tablet on Best Buy's website. The tablet's touch screen just stopped working after six months. I went to my local Best Buy and they checked out the tablet. They also couldn't get it to work. Best Buy refunded the price I paid for the tablet and the warranty without any questions. From now on, I will always purchase the replacement warranty with anything I buy at Best Buy.

    I don't normally buy warranties on all electronic products but Best Buy seems to have good prices on theirs based on how much the products are. I've had good luck on most things I've purchase so using the extra warranty doesn't usually come into play but I have had to turn to it a time or two. In any case, they make it easy to deal with as usual. It's never a hassle when it comes to their service.

    My daughter broke her last tablet by dropping it. The screen didn't crack, but something internally did. The tablet was $99 purchased at best buy. I regret not buying the protection plan. I purchased an insignia 10.1 tablet from best buy for $110 and I was offered the geek squad protection plan for $30 for 2 year. I definitely purchased it for all the coverages except lost or stolen.

    I purchased this protection plan for my 9 year old son's tablet. The protection plan was literally half the amount of the tablet. Within 29 days my son broke the screen. I brought it back and within 5 min. I was walking out the door with a new one. This time I purchased a case to protect it. I did however have to buy a new protection plan for the new tablet they gave me.

    I almost always get the protection plan. If anything brakes or malfunctions I always take it rate back to the store and leave the store satisfied. I like this better than contacting the company and other inconveniences. If we have questions or need help with set-up geek squad helps, though you may need an appointment or pick a less busy time.

    For any purchase of a technical product, I always purchase tech support, as I am not capable of working on such products myself. In most cases, I have never needed them, but when you do need help, these guys are the best! I know that I can give this Oasis e-reader confidently, knowing that any tech problems will be addressed and resolved.

    A Great deal-with a catch

    OK. You buy something or in my case, get a gift-I returned it for a 10.1 tablet and LG bluetooth . I didn't have the $30 for a warrantee on an $89 tablet. Bought this 6 days after the product purchase. I really never used the tablet until I wanted to watch something outside. I couldn't get it to work so just plugged it in and left it for about a week. Went back and it won't turn on. Now I get to pay ANOTHER $30 . Watch, I'll break the new one in the next week or so. I guess it's better than nothing.

    When my tablet broke and couldn't be charged, I was quite happy to learn it was covered under the plan. After meeting with Geek Squad, it was determined that the tablet could not be fixed so I was given a credit and left store with a brand new tablet. I am so glad I bought the two year protection plan! Thank you.

    I have taken out the extra protection on previous items in the pass such as: computers, printers, scanners and like all insurance, when you don't have it is when you need it. Years ago I lost a computer due to a power surge (and I even had it connected to a power surge protector) and Best Buy replaced it immediately.

    I have always put a warranty on tablets, computers, etc. This works out very well should something happen to the product. Grandchildren have a tendency to drop things no matter how careful they are (so do grandparents). Having a warranty takes the worry out of being without this tablet should it be damaged, etc.

    I have never had a bad experience with these replacement plans. My products are always replaced with zero issues. I would be out money as my kid, as other kids, have accidents and bestbuy's replacement plan is just that, solid for the times you need it. I recommend this to anyone for devices that will get lots of use.

    This 2 yr product replacement warranty is the best thing to have on any device, especially those devices being used by children. I can't imagine the amount of money I would have spent on replacing my kids tablets every time they dropped and broke the screens if I didn't have this product replacement plan.

    I have to replace the tablet and charger EVERY ONE TO TWO MONTHS DUE TO A DEFECT IN THE CHARGER which is a hassle! If I had not purchased the two-year replacement warranty my 8 year old child would be without a tablet and he thus, WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN a very happy camper!

    OK plan, Easy to use. Have used it numerous times with no issues. The only thing I do not like is that, it is not unlimited or even 2-3 replacements for the plan. Every time you replace the item due to non manufacturer issues, you must buy a new 2 yr plan,

    The only with this plan is that u will be asked to purchase it over again once u seek a repair on the device due to wear and tear you can't just buy the service plan once for 2 years and keep coming back everytime the device is damaged

    Best Buy's warranty is excellent. We purchased it for my boyfriend's daughter. At 9 it did not take her long to drop and break her tablet. Because of our warranty we were able to return it for a completely new tablet. Fantastic! No headaches no worries

    The 2 year accidental geek squad product replacement is the best thing anyone can get for any device they purchase from Best Buy. As soon as you mess it up all you have to do is take it back to the store and they will give you a new one.
